Serious Plantar Fasciitis Relief
I worked at a theme park for the summer about five years ago and between walking in non-orthodic shoes + standing on asphalt for 8 hours, I developed plantar fasciitis. I have returned to that theme park and have since corrected my footwear. However, there are days where I feel like every bone in my foot is breaking; ice packs help, but I wanted something I could wear while putting my feet up and relaxing after work. These little angles are so wonderful omg. I was worried that they would be too tight on my size 11.5 feet (women's), but they are comfortably snug and hold the two ice packs against your foot without any gaping or slipping.I ended up buying two sets so that I would always have them when I get home from work. Their construction is wonderful and they stay cold for a very long time. The only thing I would say is that you may want to wear light socks under the ice packs to act as a barrier between your skin and the ice pack. Overall, these are a wonderful product for pain management and I will hopefully be able to buy more sets in the future.

Instant Ahhhhhhh (Relaxation + Dulling of Pain)
These may be the least sexy thing you own, but you'll feel so relaxed and your sore feet will feel so happy that you won't care. My foot pain is a constant, low 4 out of 10 and radiates across the top and up my ankle. After a day sitting or standing, gravity and weight bearing make it worse. When I put these on, the pain dulled immediately, and I just melted into my chair. I'm high strong -- I don't melt into anything, ever. These did the trick.I wear a lady's size 9.5 shoe and got the medium. It fits snuggly, but there's definitely no extra room. It's difficult to insert the packs with the slipper on because there's no extra room to stretch, but I just put the packs in with it off my foot and all is well. I think the large would be too big since it's made for men, but the medium is definitely snug.Huge bonus -- you can get extra packs made just for this slipper!!!! I got one extra set to keep in the freezer while I wear the other set and may get a second extra set. I find myself using some of the extras to chill my ankle. And that's the biggest drawback for me -- there's no front of ankle pocket. There are 3 pockets -- full-length bottom of foot, top of foot stopping at the ankle, and back of ankle. No front of ankle. I just stuff another pack in the front right on my skin. the pack is felted so it doesn't burn on contact. It's pretty tight stuffed in there, and I'm going to bust the seam eventually, but it's doable. When it does burst, I'll just add some fabric to make it a little bigger, and maybe another pocket :)

Great product & great idea - runs very small!
Received today. Great product and great idea. Ice pack feels good and relieves hurting foot. However they run very small, especially when you put the chilled pads in. Order larger size!!!

Life saver
With hashimotos and several other autoimmune diseases my feet frequently feel as though they're on fire and swell super bad. These have been a god send! The gel packs stay cool for a long time and being in the sock they aren't directly on my skin too cold.

Relief
For unknown reasons, my feet feel hot at night. These bring relief so I can sleep. The large cold pack on the sole is great. I love the second smaller insert because I can cool the top of my foot, and by not fully inserting it into the top pocket, I can avoid making my toes too cold. I don’t need cold on my ankles, but there is also a pocket to use the second insert on the Achilles tendon.

Not great, and non-refundable
These socks are super tight and you can barely get your foot in, the opening and actual "sock" part are very tightly sewn. I bought the S/M and can't even get a size 6 foot in. The gel pads harden when frozen as well, so you're not able to slide your foot in at all. This company does NOT allow refunds on amazon, so I'm trying to go through the manufacturer website and have not had good luck. Sad that I won't get the money back, what a waste.

Work great with patience and ingenuity
The idea with these socks is a good one: reduce inflammation in feet with the convenience of ice packs placed within the specially designed socks. However, the struggle to form the socks to your feet is a challenge because, well, it’s hard to manipulate nearly frozen gel packs. Rigid socks are hard to put on when cold, adding to the frustration of someone in pain. HOWEVER, holding socks in your hands for a bit in order to soften the gel packs makes putting these on easier and then the packs mold around your feet without a struggle.

Excellent choice for chemotherapy - high quality, well-designed, comfortable
We recently bought two sets of the ice mitts and socks to use during chemotherapy to reduce the risk of neuropathy, a very common side effect of paclitaxel. I initially bought one set, concerned about quality and fit and was very pleasantly surprised at how wellmade and soft/comfortable both the mitts and socks are.In terms of sizing, I am a women's size 9-9.5 shoe and the small/medium fit perfectly/snugly. I don't know that it would fit a women's shoe size larger than that. I have rather large hands and the gloves also fit perfectly. My paclitaxel infusion lasts 3 hours and they recommend putting on the gloves and socks 15 minutes prior and leaving them on 15 minutes after. The first set was a little too cold on my hands so we improvised with latex gloves and a papertowel around my hands until the mitts warmed up a little. Next time we will try thin cotton "moisturizing" gloves (WITHOUT any moisturizer added!) and remove them as soon as possible. Thin cotton socks worked great under the ice socks initially. We did run into a challenge with the second set not staying cold long enough to complete the 3.5 hours and the first set not having enough time to refreeze so I have ordered a 3rd set for next time. I don't think most people will run into this if they are able to keep the mitts/socks in a freezer at the facility upon arrival. We did have an ice chest but were delayed a couple of hours for blood draw, etc, so it was a while before we could get them into the freezer. Can't say how grateful I am to have found these! I hope this review helps someone else as confused as I was about what to do.
