My camera is outside my observatory. This junction box made it much easier to install the camera, and provided a place for the cables to be stored in. I bought another one for my second outside camera.I have 3 cameras inside that do NOT use a junction box since they are protected from the weather.

The bos is simply perfect made and includes everything needed. Regretfully, I intended to use it to enclose the camera power supply, but there is not enough room inside for it. Maybe a 1A version could fit well, but I don't want to switch the 2A power supply provided with the camera. My mistake for not anticipating this. Otherwise, the box is superb.

This box came in perfect for mounting my camera on the brick wall, love the hex Allen screws for security closing the box and the rubber grommet in the back.

We have been using Foscam cameras for over five years now and I recently installed a couple of HT2 cameras facing our back yard since someone came into our fenced yard the third week this past December and cut the ends off of a young 3 year-old tree (Norway Pine) we bought from a nursery and cared for it with extreme diligence. We're think someone wanted to make a holiday decoration with the ends. Only our neighbors would know it was there since it was tucked in between two very large trees. Now the tree is destroyed...SAD! Back to this junction box, the internal size was just the right amount to fit an a/c adapter and all wires to make it work. I fed some THHN wires to a female plug and found an a/c adapter that was thin enough (width-wise) and the correct mAh to run the camera (same dc output as the original adapter). Then the j-box was mounted to a vinyl mounting block. We really like to be able to zoom in the camera feed and keep track of our dogs and hopefully someone won't come into our fenced yard and destroy our tree again (we have to re-plant). The camera is watching that area now 24/7.

This is a nice compliment to the Foscam F19928P camera. Easy to mount with plenty of room for cables. High quality build.

I purchased this Junction Box for mounting my Foscam SD2X 18X Optical Zoom 1080P HD Outdoor PTZ Security Camera. Very solid metal box with a cutout on the back and the bottom for wiring or conduit. I mounted mine so the wires came out through the top. Looks more professional than mounting the camera base directly to the wood.

Mount is very good but the camera itself has cable gaps on the sides that don't seal. I had to cover them with duct tape. Mount is 5, camera is One so 3 average.
