I saw this on Shark Tank and thought that if it worked it would be worth the money. I seem to be prone to bug bites. Well I testify it does work. I haven't tried it for wasp or bee, but it works for mosquitoes and that it good enough for me. All my grandchildren ages 8 and up used it as well, and stopped itching those pesky mosquito bites. No battery, it was easy for all of us to use. It's a good size to put in your first aide kit when you are camping or hiking.

I have Skeeter Syndrome . Mosquito bites on me are an ORDEAL. They swell and get big and nasty so I hide inside. Last summer I discovered this Bug Bite Thing and I have never been happier. I used to have bites that itched for days and weeks and huge welts on my arms and legs but since using this I have only had big welts when I haven’t had my BBT on hand! My only complaint is that it can be really difficult for me to suction the whole way depending on where I am trying to use it. So the design could probably use some editing but besides this, it’s a true miracle product!

But if the bite was more of a “numb sting” without a clear entry point, it’s less effective. It seems to rely on extracting saliva or irritants that are already beneath the surface. ⏱️ Pro tip: hold the suction for at least 5 seconds to give it time to work. Then wipe the area clean, especially if you suspect mosquito saliva is involved. That final step makes a difference. It’s not a miracle cure, but when used correctly, it’s a solid tool. ✨ Trust me when I say nothing else out there has provided as much relief as this!

This is the second one I have bought for our household. I won’t go outside without it. We are recent transplants to Florida, and these are the meanest mosquitoes I’ve ever met. Sure, the Louisiana mosquitoes are the size of hummingbirds, but they’re not real go-getters unless you’re in the swamp. These Florida mosquitoes are sociopathic. Insanely aggressive and their bites are nasty and itchy. AND THEY ARE IN OUR BACKYARD! Two days ago I was in the yard and was attacked by a gang of these creatures. They dive-bombed me from all angles and chomped down on me more or less simultaneously. Side note: At the same time I learned that “natural” bug repellent made with essential oils might work on less ambitious mosquitoes, but it didn’t work with these. I ran inside to avoid further attack and grabbed the Bug Thing. I had a huge bite on my forehead (one of 12 bites in total), and it itched like crazy. I didn’t want to do to my face what I did to my arm a few years ago, scratching like a maniac while I slept and ending up with a scarred arm and blood-stained sheets. So I busted out the Bug Thing. In my eagerness to get rid of the itching, and because the bite was big, I kept the suction going for a long time. Too long, as it turns out. I didn’t read the instructions with our first Bug Thing, because it seemed self-explanatory, but the devil’s always in the details, isn’t it? Turns out, there’s a big fat warning about not using it on your face. Who knew? (Everyone who read the instructions, but not the girl with the big purple circle on her forehead.) I regret NOTHING. This thing works amazingly well, and so what if I have a quarter-sized love bite on my forehead? Big whoop. THE BUG THING IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE ITCHING. Bruises go away; scars from fingernails, not so much. Another word of advice: I bought several of a knock-off brand, thinking, “It’s a plastic barrel with a plunger, how hard could it be to replicate?” I guess fairly hard, because the knock-offs were flimsy and I couldn’t really get a good vacuum with them. I mean, I guess I wouldn’t have been able to suck a ridiculous bruise to the surface of my face with one of the knock-offs, but I probably wouldn’t have been able to suck the itch juice out of my skin, either. I’d much rather have a bruise than a bite. Anyway, this thing is awesome, just don’t use it on your face…or do. I would100% do it again.

This product has a flaw. The reversible suction cap always splits. It might take a few months. But it will split. Then it's unusable. Do you buy a new one? If you contact the company they know it's an issue and will send new caps to you. But still a pain.

Absolutely love this thing! It makes bug bites soooo much better. You see the results quickly. We take it on trips with us because my husband and daughter are magnets for mosquitoes. I’ve used it for various bites. It is VERY helpful with fire ant bites. It easily fits into a purse, backpack, pouch, etc. I sent one to college with my oldest. I highly recommend.

This thing actually works, I’ve used it on numerous big bites on myself and my kids. Crazy how this literally sucks the venom to the surface and relieves itchiness. Just have to make sure you have a good seal especially on boney surfaces like the ankle area. Definitely recommend.

Works good for bug bites on kids. Easy to use, seems to stop the itch and swelling if used right away after being bitten.

My wife is mosquito bait. This works so good that my life is better! I don’t have to listen to the whining😂 My grand kids use one too because it works. It really does the job.

I tried this product last summer and now I got my own. For me it was a life saver as mosquitos usually do not leave empty spot on my body after my walk along the river bank. I don’t like using chemicals on my skin, so having this product truly is a life changer. My grandkids love it too, I feel safe for them to use it and they no longer have any itchiness after the bite. This product made in Denmark, it warrants great quality and many times in use. Highly recommended it.
