I have a church stage about 30x20. If I were to get 6 of these mics and mount them upside down about 10 ft in the air, would it do well for plays?

Hanging in the air is wrong for this style of mic, there are choir mics for that purpose but those don't work great for play productions. Despite the other answers that this is only for a conference table, this type of mic is often used along the edge of a stage. 6 sounds like too many for your stage size. 2 or perhaps 3 would suffice with the right spacing, but as someone else pointed out they should be surface mounted alongside the front edge of the stage.

Does the base have mounting holes? I'd like to replace a mike that is currently mounted to the inside of the piano lid.
