I have been using Kleams for a few weeks now and it has made a huge difference in how I sanitize when I am out of the house. The small pocket size of this sturdy UV-C light makes it easy to carry. After testing it on the included UVC test strip (it works!) I now use it on the shopping cart handle whenever I go to the supermarket. I didn’t like the wet wipes that are provided as I could never get the messy handle dry again. This made my hands wet with sanitizer and left me wondering if that is healthy. Kleams takes care of this problem.Even more personal, I have found that it is a terrific thing to have in public bathrooms where I imagine a host of germs live. I use it on the toilet handle, the soap dispenser and sometimes on the door handle if I can’t use a paper towel to open. It is truly a useful device that assures me of protection.

I was excited for this iteam, I'm not sure if it actually disinfects. But very easy to use and so far a good and fast experience.

It is very portable, small enough for a pocket. I can take it anywhere to sanitize my phone or anything I touch. It has a premium feel since the build quality seems to be very good to hold in your hand. It even comes with a test sheet which shows a great result when you change the number on the LED so the UV light stays on over 15 seconds, but not the long 120 default that it starts you off at.Carrying this device, along with wearing my mask, and getting the vaccine shots, make me feel more comfortable to venture out into public spaces. All people searching for devices like this should buy this one, and make sure you get vaccine shots.

Kleams is a godsend, especially when you find yourself in high-touch, high traffic public areas on a frequent basis. While I like to give the benefit of the doubt to businesses, schools, restaurants and others in following cleaning and sanitizing protocols in the Covid era, can you be absolutely certain that the teenager or twenty-something who just messed up your food order and couldn't remember to give you a drinking straw will remember to thoroughly wipe down your table, chair, or anything at all in the restroom?And if you have kids, you know that despite your best efforts they will inevitably touch their eyes, nose or some crucial germ port-of-entry immediately after handling any and all items within their grasp. I just missed my return window! I regret my purchase. The item comes with a test card that doesn't shown anything. It's impossible to verify if the UV light sanitizes the surface. Another thing that I really don't like is why they don't clearly write in the description that it's made in China? I read several reviews and it seems made in the States, I checked all the pictures in the description, but I discovered after the item arrived, that it's made in China. It was on the 3rd or 4th page of the questions and printed outside of the packaging.I think they remove "made in China" on the picture they post on the Amazon's description. I'm a little because I waisted a lot of money. My bad, I let to pass to many days to return!

While traveling, I would try using the wand on various types of surfaces such as utensils where I was staying or my phone, and each seemed to have this awesome energy to the touch when I went to use them. I kept the wand in its original box so as to not accidentally press the buttons, as the box holding foam has a space to prevent it from being pressed while holding it in place. So, I haven't really used it on the go like in restaurants and such.

UPDATED 4/15/21 - I received a replacement product and have had no issues. Product charges easily and holds a charge. It very compact which makes it easy to carry in a purse, backpack or even a pocket. I do wish there were more instructions on how much time to sanitize different items. I deducted 1 star due to the issues with my original device.Original review - I wanted to love this product due to the current times, living with covid and having to constantly disinfect and sanitize anything.The product will not charge and turns off within 20 seconds of trying to sanitize an item. I’ve charged the product multiple times and the battery life does not charge beyond 50%. Then when I try to sanitize, the device turns off.Maybe I received a faulty device but I’m very disappointed.
