Q: What is the temperature range capability?

The high end of the Solaire Anywhere and Everywhere is about 1000 degrees F. The low end is around 500 degrees. That is not quite as low as in our patio models (21” and larger models), but we have found the Solaire Anywhere to be very versatile with the types of food that can be grilled on this portable. It is also substantially more heat than any other portable on the market. The temperature is controlled by the valve, which controls the amount of gas that flows to the burner. Grilling is done a bit differently with a Solaire Grill than with conventional grills. First, it only takes about three minutes to heat up. Second, all of the grilling is done with the lid up. Third, the grilling technique is to sear both sides on high for around three minutes (give or take, depending on size and cut of meat or food, and personal preference that is developed with use), then to turn the temperature down to “finish” the food, turning a couple of times until done. This applies for any type of food, from steak to fish, chops to veggies, hamburgers to chicken breasts.

Q: Can this cook pizzas?

Sorry, no. This is a Hot/Fast grill that is great for grilling all types of food. The hood is single skin and must remain open during use, which is no issue because the high direct heat from the efficient Infrared burner heats the food directly. It does not have an oven hood that is needed for making pizza.

Q: How does everyone clean the inside bottom after use?

You can clean the inside bottom by removing the IR burner assy, pull up on the left side of the burner, it just snaps in be carefull of the ignoter probes when removing. I wash mine out with dawn and hot water and ise easy off oven spray for the grate. Love my solaire!! Best grill i have ever owned

Q: Are the dimensions without feet/pads I.e., the 8 1/4”?

Mine measures 8 3/4" high with the feet on.
