It's user-friendly with clear directions. Stretching is a huge part of my day-to-day life because of many physical therapy stretches to deal with chronic pain from a variety of sources. I like using books like this on stretching because part of my physical therapy is learning how to adapt stretches into something I can do. Of course, my physical therapists can always help me figure this out if I'm stuck. This book gave me some new stretches to work on and aspire to, which is always valuable to me. There's only one picture per stretch, but some of of them would benefit from having more to illustrate changes in positioning. I'm blind and so rely on text descriptions, but my SO relies on the pictures to tell me if it looks right. I received this at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. Great exercises!
This book has provided me with some great exercises. I recently got some of the exercise bands, but wasn't really aware of what kinds of exercises I could do with them. I knew of a few things, but not many. It's pretty difficult for me to make it to the gym, so I'm always looking for easy ways to work out at home. I think using these bands is a really great way to work out at home. It provides you with a good workout, but it's also a small piece of equipment and you don't need a whole workout room at home! I was very pleased with the exercises in the book and feel like it has provided me with some great additions to my workout. So out of shape and this book brings it back to basics... highly recommended
I received this book on stretching as I am always in front of a computer at work and I have found that I am so sore by the end of my week. My shoulders and my back are taking the blunt of the abuse. I tend to be in front of a computer for 10-12 hours a day and then of course a long drive home and back the next day to do it all over again. This is what sent me looking specifically for some way to stretch out my back to keep from feeling like it might just disown me some day. I located this kindlebook and was hoping it might help. When deciding on this specific book I found I was drawn to the idea that it is designed to teach a normal person such as myself how to stretch with stretch bands like dancers do. It has 114 pages total and it does provide step by step instructions. Well it sounds wonderful so far I have learned without a doubt that I am so not flexible anymore. I have been using the stretches and I do find the material in the book to be helpful and easy to follow. Kindlebooks are the best as they are a simple “download” away. Quick and easy unlike getting yourself motivated to stretch each day. I would recommend this book as I do find it to be very helpful and worth doing.

Very informative :-)
What an informative read on stretching !!!!!I had no idea stretching was so important even after an excersise workout and that there are several different types of stretches and stretching poses.This is an easy to understand kindle book that I purchased for my daughter but I ended up benefitting from reading it as well.I recently purchased some stretching bands to assist me and my daughter in doing our poses; I am so excited and can not wait to get started in a regular stretching routine.I must say several of the stretches I will not be able to do at this time and might never accomplish in doing them but there are plenty I know I can and will do and will be incorporating them into my daily schedule.I really enjoyed this kindle book and recieved it at a discounted price to write a review with my opinions of the book.I hope my information was helpful to you.

El libro explica ampliamente generalidades sobre la flexibilidad, diferencias entre el streching estático y el dinámico, normas a considerar en el trabajo de la elongación, algunos ejercicios previos y finalmente al trabajo de flexibilidad con bandas elásticas, dando buenos ejercicios sobre el uso de este implemento. Para quién siga sus instrucciones y explicaciones facilita el autoentrenamiento de esta cualidad física. Indispensable traducir del inglés al español como es mi caso idiomático... y tener la banda elástica para sus aplicaciones. Si bien los ejercicios expresados sirven para las disciplinas gimnásticas mencionadas, cada atleta, gimnasta o bailarín debe darle la proyección a las técnicas particulares de su especialidad o disciplina deportiva. es el autodesafío que personalmente infiero de esta lectura.

At 50 and out of shape, I am astonished at how defined my legs are becoming and how my butt has lifted in just 3 weeks.
I have a very painful prolapsed (slipped) lumbar disc L4. My body was rigid and I am taking things very, very gently so as not to inflame my disc. The majority of the pages do not require a band, and you don't need to be a ballet dancer. I have just now started using the band as an aid to lean back and forward to ignite my abs without inflaming my disc and stand on the band to exercise my arms. The step by step stretching instructions have given me courage. I do my stretching daily when I watch the news. Next goal is the splits!

Simple but very helpful
This book is simple to read with valuable info on how important stretching is. I do have a better understanding and I can now apply the science behind it for what I’m looking to achieve.

Great entry level read
A good read when i first got it and i still use it as a refresher, though it could've offered some more variety on exercises. It's great if you're a beginner and compliments fitness apps that cover stretching exercise routines. Still if you want a hardcovers or soft copy on you at all times its a valid purchase.
