Great product
My child absolutely loves it and wears it everyday. it’s such a good way for my child to track their everyday activities and we can have a competition to see who does more steps they always win.Battery life lasts a good few days maybe more over a week.Took a couple of days to for them to figure out how it all works. But once they got used to its functionality they were good to go.Would definitely recommend.

Disgraceful from Google/Fitbit - impossible to set up - and I work in tech!
I've just wasted at least 3 hours trying to setup this against my 8 year old's google account (myself having a G account since the invite days). It's actually impossible with the poor family management system of Google which actually prevents Supervised accounts from being setup as part of a family. I'm not alone as there are thousands of other threads out there with people struggling. It's being returned and Google should be ashamed of these problems.

Fitbit Ace 3
It was a bit challenging to set up as it was not clear that you had to set up an email account for the child. The functionality is good but the side touch is not very sensitive and can be frustrating.

Appreciated Gift
Bought this as a birthday present for my grandson, who absolutely loves it. He takes great pride in telling me how many steps he has done. Had problems at first registering it on the fitbit app but sorted it with some help.

Working well after sync problems at start
Did not sync to app at start. But software update at start of September 24 has resolved syncing issues. Working well now.

Great first smart watch
Ideal gift, my 6 year old loves it, step counter and active minutes tracking. Has stop watch and timers, nice and basic for a young child no cameras or games

Tricky to setup and irritates skin
We got the Fitbit Ace 3 for our kids, and while it’s an ok fitness tracker, the setup process and syncing have been more challenging than expected. Also, the watch strap irritates their skin meaning they take them off regularly. Here’s how it went:Pros:• Reminders: You can set the watch to vibrate at certain times to get them to drink water. This worked really well for our kids.• Motivates Activity: It’s a great tool for encouraging kids to stay active. The step tracking, challenges, and animations are a big hit, and it’s helped build healthy habits.• Battery Life: The battery lasts a good few days, which is a relief because I don’t want to charge it every night.Cons:• Setup Was Tricky: Getting it up and running was not as straightforward as I’d hoped. Setting up the child’s profile and pairing it with the app required some trial and error, and the instructions weren’t very clear.• Skin irritation: The two photos are attached are my kids wrists after the watches have been off for 3 days. You can see they are still very sore. This makes them not want to wear them. They aren’t normally sensitive to things and have worn other watches before without this issue.• Tedious Syncing: Because the children are too young to have their own phones it is annoying trying to get them to sync to my phone to see any insights so we don’t bother.• Limited Features Without the App: Some of the features rely heavily on syncing to the app, so if syncing fails, it feels a bit pointless.Overall Thoughts:The Fitbit Ace 3 is great for encouraging kids to be more active. However, the setup process and syncing issues take away from the experience, along with comfort issues. I wouldn’t buy these again, personally.
