Best Dang Stainless Steel Watermelon Knife Slicer and Fruit Dessert Fork Set

This is a cute gadget that the kids will love to use. The little smiley faces show which side you cut from, and which side you use them as 'tongs' to remove the slices from the rind. I found that my watermelon was too large to get it close to the rind the first time I used it, but we have big watermelons here :)This is well made and the blades are thin and flexible, but not so much that they will bend. They slice right through the flesh of the melon easily and the tiny bar at the end scoops it from the rind area. Not sure about the little forks...my family just dug in with their usual gusto and the forks were left aside. I'm thinking of using them on a cheese platter at a later date. My wife and I love watermelon, so I thought I would try out this slicer to see if made cutting them up any easier. It definitely does! This slicer allows you to cut out the meat without having to cut into the rind. The curved blades cut down into the meat, while the wire between the blades allows you to cut the meat away from the rind. You then squeeze the blades together to grip the slice, and pull it out. Makes cutting up a watermelon more efficient and less messy. The only thing I didn't like was that it did not come with any instructions. But its pretty easy to figure out.I received this item at a discounted price in return for an honest review.

This is the second watermelon slicer I have gotten. I was not as impressed with this one as the first. Because it is all metal you can have trouble gripping the handle when removing a slice of watermelon or even when slicing. I really like the one I have that has a rubber grip on the handle. The little forks are really just silly for watermelon, maybe ok for cheese.I did receive this product at a discounted rate for my honest review on Amazon.

Works pretty well. Make sure you watch youtube video to learn how to use. Husband used wrong side first and was frustrated, once I showed him the video, it became easier.

What a great product. I love watermelon and have it all the time during summer. I put this to work today and it worked great. There were no instructions but I figured it out after the first try. So much easier than cutting it into slices! I highly recommend it!Day 2 - my husband used it and he liked it. He is very hard to impress. To get a perfect sliced we found the best way was to slice from one side to the middle and then slice from the other to the middle. He's on his way to buy another watermelon now!

sturdy Stainless watermelon cutter. Cuts a whole watermelon in minutes.I dint have any problem cutting without rubberized handles, works just fine. The smiley face shows which side goes up for starters. Love the fruit forks - good quality even though its free.

when I received the item, it was used. the outside and inside of it had scratch marks. it was sticky and smudges.
