The keyboard feels and types like an apple keyboard, but with the keyboard cover, it really feels much better. The space bar works much better than the Onn keyboard. Not having to change batteries is a big thing. So far, especially for the money, this is a big winner. The switching between devices is quick and seamless and the response rate is good. The mouse sensitivity is adjustable and they both work well with the iOS devices. Love this keyboard/mouse set. My only problem is the 2.4G range. I have my iMac on the desk and the keyboard is on a sliding shelf just below the keyboard. Basically less than 2 feet away from the transceiver, but it won't work unless I put the keyboard on the desk. The range is pathetic.

This is a review for what I view to be the best PORTABLE keyboard out there, not necessarily the best FIXED DESKTOP keyboard.Like any proper digital nomad, I have been trying to assemble the perfect mobile office set-up. Keyboard, mouse, second monitor, headset . . . they all have to be light-weight, wireless, compact, long battery life and easy to re-charge, but also minimal sacrifice of office features. I looked at maybe 20 keyboards, and ended up actually buying three (!), and this is my favorite.First of all, it just works. Bluetooth connects instantly and the battery lasts a long time. So far I have not had any key jams or connection problems or bugs or anything. It also charges via USB, no need to ever switch out batteries.Second, at least speaking for myself, I had to have a full keyboard (a real number pad, PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, Delete, proper cursor movemnt keys, etc), but it also had to be as light and slim as possible. This is my favorite of all the ones I looked at online and of the several that I physically tested. There is an obvious compromise between functionality on the one hand, and weight and space and battery life on the other hand, and this one threads the needle the best.Third, I never thought I would need it, but the ability to switch between two bluetooth-paired devices is awesome! I use it constantly (because I have a "work" computer and a "personal" computer side by side, which I admit may be unusual). And, again, it just works.Fourth, it was reasonably priced.There is the ability to switch to yet a third connection via wireless USB dongle and the only con I can think of is that there is no place to hide away the dongle when you're not using it, which is annoying if you are an obsessive like me. (My iclever mouse does have a place inside its battery case for its dongle, but that mouse and this keyboard are not connected.)I really like this keyboard because it is light and compact for my MOBILE needs, but is still a proper full keyboard for my OFFICE needs. Definitely recommend.UPDATE: I have been using this keyboard (including extensive travel) and I still like it as much as I did when I first got it. This is the one to choose if you want a real keyboard that will also fit in your briefcase.

I replaced the small Apple keyboard for my iMac and wanted a full-size with large arrow keys and number pad so this one does the job. It is solid and stays put on the desk.Pros: Easy to set up and reliable. You have a choice of configuring the F-keys traditionally or with the functionality of a typical Apple keyboard. It comes with an optional rubber protective cover that fits nicely and doesn't slide and has a nice tactile feel. This keyboard can be used via bluetooth or with a usb dongle which is included.Cons: It goes to sleep (at least via bluetooth) and takes a couple seconds to wake up so can miss the first keystrokes. Certain keys are poorly placed that can accidentally be touched, like the key that changes how the F-row behaves is right next to the volume keys.

I pretty much liked everything about it. It works for what I needed. I noticed the Bluetooth options were the best to use compared to the wireless option on the keyboard. For some reason with my Windows PC it kept disconnecting a lot, a lot, a LOT with the wireless. The Bluetooth works great for the Windows PC and Mac PC. I don't know if that's normal for a wireless? Maybe I have too many wireless things interfering. I'm so used to using the wired version and decided to finally cut them this late in the game. The keyboard feels weird typing on because it seems more flat and I can't easily hit the right keys like I normally do when looking directly at the monitor only and not the keyboard. Happy I bought this though!
