Awesome
These are fantastic. I had to break them in appropriately like any other Vibram shoe, but I’ve trounced around in them everywhere. These are perfect for first-time Vibram wearers. At one point I swore I’d never wear them, but now I’m a huge fan. Alongside the proprioceptive awareness gained, I’m amphibious and able to go anywhere!

Be careful with sizing !!!
The shoes runs extremely small I ordered my true size which was a 6 and it was extremely tight. Go up 1 size or 1 and 1/2 size up.

Big toe problem, but still do-able.
I have odd feet. I mean, I sometimes wear a size six. Sometimes a 5 1/2. My road cycling shoes are a 35. Birkenstocks a 36. My vibram speeds are a 36, along with these v-trail runners. And every time I buy shoes- it’s a gigantic production. I have wide feet to the point where it almost looks like I have baby flippers. Both my big toes curve inward, which caused a doctor to assume I had morton’s Toe (I don’t). I also have a high instep, and I tend to supinate. So there’s that.It took me a good hour to put on these shoes. I ordered the same size as my speeds, logically thinking “well the speeds fit perfectly, therefore it shouldn’t be a problem.” No. There was a problem. Once my toes were in the correct slots, I had to build a makeshift shoe horn out of some home materials.the tongue folded, added pressure to the instep, and I’d have to start all over again. They were more than snug. I thought my feet were suffocating, so I did what I always do: I took them swimming. They stretched. I know people say they don’t- but it worked. It now takes me 20 seconds to put them on without the makeshift shoe horn. But there’s still a problem. My big toes move inward, and the sewing isn’t ideal. Inside of the right big toe slot,Someone sewed a knot. And not just any knot. It’s a knot that adds pressure to the top of the toe-nail, pushing it downward. I can’t turn the shoes inside out, nor can I cut it blindly. Therefore, I simply adjust it every so often. I still wear them. I hiked mountains of Sedona with them; held up just fine. I just wish I could get rid of that knot.

The real reason the product is too small!
I thought I would try something new and excitedly ordered the Vibram for a different running experience. My feet are a UK size 4.5 so I usually buy a size 5 and opted for these in the menu. When the product arrived, I tried them on and found it really difficult. I googled “the easiest way to put on Vibram Fivefingers” and followed the instructions. I managed to get the shoe on my smallest foot but it didn’t feel right. I tried the other foot but I just couldn’t get the shoe on. Something wasn’t right and the shoes would have to be returned.Very disappointed, I started the returns process but I had a niggling feeling. Things just didn’t add up. I should had plenty of room in the shoes even if they did run on the small size.As I was packaging the box for return, I noticed the sizing info (see picture). Euro size 36. That’s not right - a UK size 4 is a 37. I was trying to squeeze my feet into a size 3 shoe!I am presuming that all Vibram Fivefingers are wrong in terms of UK sizing hence the review information. So when ordering, use the EUR sizing or add 2 onto your UK size. Hopefully this will be correct!
