Stock item for our binding machines, make sure you are ordering the right size coil with the right pitch, the product description will tell you, and make sure you half your book - 100 page book is 50 pages both sides, do you need a coil that comfortably holds 50 pages. we make smaller books so we cut off the excess coil with a scissor or cutting pliers. this is an excellent product, easy to use, quality is great. standard design which is what publishers want. happy publishing!

I am pleasantly surprised by these combs. I do an average of 600 journals each spring and again each fall for various Christian camps. This time I was doing study/prayer journals for a friend's men's group that are thicker than my standard 9mm journals. I was hesitant to order these, as they look very thin in the picture. But, I needed something quickly, so took a chance. They are quite sturdy, go through the roller on the binding machine nicely, and cut perfectly each time. They look good on the books and don't look cheap like other coils I had to purchase in the past in a crunch. I don't use this size very often, but will definitely order again when needed.

Perfect for creating Unit pamphlets for my history class

I ordered these binding spirals for my husband who was needing them to bind a portfolio. The product states that there are 50 total spirals, 10 of each, and colors are listed as red, blue, yellow, green, pink. I chose this specific package for the red spirals, and they were closer to orange than red. Also (not pictured), the blue is more royal than it is navy blue. The spiral on the right of the picture is what came in the package. The spiral on the left is the spiral that I ended up spray painting red.Otherwise, the spirals work great. They are lightweight plastic, easy to use, and the size is just as described. I was able to use these to bind 75 pages, 2 pvc covers, and a cardstock cover. If you need to bind more than this, I would size up as the amount of pages I used was close to maxing out the spirals capacity.

These are strong and thick. Hold their shape and work great. Not like some other flimsy ones being sold.
