Master Massage 6 Quart Hot Massage Stone Heater Warmer Heating Device

I purchased this unit in April 2025. Within 6 weeks it has developed rust on rim under lid, and rust spots on sides and bottom of inner container. I cleaned everything, but rust returned within a week, and unit is worthless, even though it heats perfectly. I missed return by 2 weeks. This is not remediable, and should not happen. Do not buy this.Update:There is a strong possibility that the rust came from the basalt rocks that this device heated. I had previously used river rocks for many years in a clinical setting, but now have found out that basalt has a high iron content. I had recently added 4 new basalt rocks to the water bath, along with the many years used river rocks. Based on that, my review of the heater is changed to a 5 star, because it heated beautifully, and will forego using basalt rocks unless they are heated in a dry heater.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked this heater. It holds a large number of stones — I placed 28 medium-sized stones inside with no problem. It heats up very quickly and lets you select the exact temperature you want, in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. It reaches the desired temperature and keeps it steady throughout the session, which is perfect for professional use.It’s very easy to use, safe, and works great for both professional and personal purposes. Delivery was super fast, and it arrived in perfect condition.The only downside is the lid design. Once you remove it, there’s no convenient place to set it down. It would be much better if it had a built-in system to anchor the lid upright right there. I was initially thrilled that I was able to find one of the smaller roasters here on Amazon since Massage Warehouse was sold out and more expensive. But after using it a few times, I'm very, very disappointed.It seems to have massive issues with temperature control! Setting the temperature to, say, 130F results in the roaster quickly getting up to temp, then SKYROCKETING past the target temp before shutting off the heating element. Then, the roaster allows the temp to drop down to 116F before the heating element kicks back on.I have tried keeping the lid on, taking the lid off, putting the lid perpendicular on the roaster, turning the unit on and back off again when I see it get too hot or too cold, and the constant worry about maintaining proper temperature prevents me from focusing on my client! I feel like I spend more time messing with this roaster than actually focusing on the massage!! Additionally, imagine my shock the first time I reached into the roaster for a stone and almost burned my own hand! The water temperature had gotten up to a whopping **151F** before the heating element kicked off!!! Wasting time throwing the stones in cool water just so I can use them on my client?! Ugh!!!I don't know if mine is just faulty or what, but BUYER BEWARE!

Didn't heat as quickly as I had hoped. The ambient temp on the right says it's reached capacity, but the stones took more than 90 min to get to temp. I lined mine (inside and rim) with silicone so the rocks wouldn't clang and the lid would be silent as the lid is light weight and feels like aluminum. Not a lot of room for stones unless you double layer and then bottom stones are hotter than top. Fits 6 palm sized and 2 smaller working stones comfortably.Comes with a spoon to scoop stones.Ultimately I still have my roaster so now I have 2 going during massages with stones in each. This unit does heat faster than my roaster (takes 2 hrs to heat stones in roaster) but not like I was expecting from the reviews I read. All in all it'll work, but I'd definitely get the larger size and plan extra time for clients.

Great hot stone warmer. We had been using a normal crock pot and it was challenging making sure the stones were warm enough but not too warm. This warmer heats them up quickly and does a good job of keeping the temp steady. I would love if a manufacturer for these would create a silicone lining so that the stones aren’t quite so loud hitting metal but overall this was a solid buy
