LINWIN 4 Key Custom Keycaps for MX Mechanical Keyboard

My grandson loves this!!. It is a really pretty snow capped mountain to replace a keyboard key

It's a decent-looking key considering the price. The sword inside is a plastic toy, and the bottom half of the key is opaque, negating any illuminating effect from an RGB keyboard. Unfortunately, the spacing of the three mounting points on the underside is slightly too narrow to fit my keyboard. It's very close, but 0.5mm off. Hopefully, I can use it on my work keyboard made by a different company. I didn't knock off the star for the lack of fit - I'm sure all keyboards are different. However, they should put the size in the ad so people will know in advance. I knocked off the star for the lack of translucent openings on the bottom and the plastic look of the sword. Overall it's good, but it could be better.

The light came thru the eyes of it did hands down 5 stars but because it doesn’t I have to give it 4 still a great addition to your keyboard the quality surprised me looks exactly like the picture I wish it were a shift key or tab key but alwell find something else for that

Since the review for both sized keycaps get lumped into one review, find the keycap you're interested in... FOR THE NORMAL SIZE KEYCAP: This single keycap is beautiful! Perfect for an escape key or a delete key- though of course my little space walker is going on the escape key, keeping in theme... Keep in mind two things: First, this is significantly heavier than any normal keycap. (If that bothers you, maybe get a heavier switch, like blacks...) Second, it is significantly taller than a normal keycap. Again, if you put them in the far corners of your board (escape or delete), you probably won't see that as an issue. I actually like having my escape key being taller; feels like a big button that I bop while I'm getting to work in my editor... FOR THE SPACEBAR: Same as the other keycap, this keycap is taller and heavier. This actually becomes more of a problem with the spacebar since it can subtly get in the way of other keys and you may frequently accidentally press it with minimal force. If you have a hot-swappable keyboard, be sure to get a heavier switch...

The keycap does not fit and you actually have to heat it up with a blowdryer which is stupid. Second of all, the bottom of the keycap is black and light does not flow through it. Lastly, there are other options that are better and have the price. The key is also like twice the height of other keys. Don't buy it lol.

Missing caps. Received 4 out of 6. Smaller than they should be; quality not so great. Had scuffs. Paid $20 for this. Will return.

Usually buying things like this on Amazon can be sketchy. This was not one of those times. The one I received looks like the example photo but unique enough to make it mine. The fit was a little worrisome at first but I just had to use a little more force than usual and it popped right on. What else can I say? It looks great.

So nice an addition to my K70. The stand offs are a little shorter and tighter than my RedDragon black pudding keycaps and the key is a little taller and stickier than the rest but a little extra force or a flat head will loosen it up. Corsair K70 with Cherry MX blue switches.

Really impressed with these keycaps, they look great! Slightly snug fit. As per instructions using a few seconds of heat from a hair dryer made them slide on nicely.

The resin isn't set exactly how the person making it had intended therefore they dropped the price of the product down which I am really thankful for. I didn't get my hopes up as one usually gets what they pay for. I was really surprised with how it turned out regardless. As a bonus, I was also sent a complimentary second keycap; "The Mountain" looking one. It is a different form-factor & the slot on the back was too small for the + on my mechanical keyboard initially but I was able to DIY file it to fit. I hope that since the price fluctuates with the product that means the quality is synchronized.
