The Never-Bored Kid Book, Ages 5-6 Review: Great for car trips or taking to a restaurant - Great for car trips or taking to a restaurant. Worst part is my kids argue over who gets to use which book, which I guess is a good problem to have. Enough variation that you can get through a good sit down dinner without having to spend it yelling at your kids or plug them in front of a phone/tablet...which is a win in my book. Even got a compliment from a waiter on how nice it was to see kids actually doing something vs. just staring at a tablet. There is a time and place for that too but good to hear. Review: great purchase - probably one of the best purchases I've made in a while from desertcart. my kids don't want to STOP doing the activities in these books. As soon as they come home from school, they start working in the books without any prompting or pushing. they finished 2 books within a week. I love the variety of activities. definitely reinforces skills they are learning at school - motor skills, finding differences, coloring, sequencing, etc.. I think they need an older age group so it's a little challenging. This was a heck of a bargain!
I bought this for my 5 year-old as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. I'd bought a different version for my other son years ago, and he never showed a lot of interest in it. My younger son, though? He loves this book. He's worked on it about twice or three times a week since Christmas, and there's not an end in sight. For the cost, the amount of entertainment it has brought is extraordinary! If you've got a child who loves cutting and gluing activities, this is really a winner.

Finally - a good quality activity book!
My five year old son loves classic games like dot to dots, mazes, and other classic activity book items. It is so hard to find a GOOD activity book in stores such as grocery stores, Target etc. This one has a great variety of activities, tons of mazes and dot-to-dots, word finds etc. My son loves it!! I actually have to hide it so he doesn't do it all in one sitting! I was very happy with the 8-9 yr old book for my older son as well. Definitely worth purchasing!

Lots of fun, and age appropriate
Awesome for my 6-year-old child who is not reading yet. I did have to read some of the items to him, but it was mostly a book that he could bury himself in independently. I'd say this is one of the best activity books that my child has ever had (and gets them often). The activities were quite diverse, and they were FUN as opposed to being "learning-oriented."

Super engaging
This book kept my 5 year old entertained on a road trip from New England to Florida and when we got home. He loves the cutting projects and was able to complete most of the writing/drawing tasks independently.

Awesome....that too Made in USA..
It has a good mix of activities - puzzles, crafts, joining dots, words, currencies, food related etc etc. True to its title. My son likes most of the activities posed there. The answers at the back are helpful particularly when putting together picture puzzles after cutting the individual pieces. My 5yr old needs a reference pic to glue it. More than anything, refreshingly enough, this product is "Made in USA" and is competitive enough to compete with imported goods. So more incentive to buy.

Good fit for kindergarten and 1rst grade.
It has the right mix to cover ages specified. Finding a book that spans that age is difficult. They often are too easy or rely on good reading abilities. My grandchildren are advanced for their age but just turning 6 still lack the schooling. This book was a good fit.
