Veritek Performance Set of 20 14x1.5mm 2.10 Inch 28mm Shank Length 17mm Hex R12 OE Black Ball Seat Wheel Lug Bolts for Mercedes Audi VW Factory Wheels

I have these lug nuts on my 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet with Audi OEM 19in S4 Wheels. I've had these on my car for 2 months, during rain and sunshine in the Midwest. No signs of the coating degrading at all. No issues with installation either, as they all threaded in smoothly. I'd recommend a 6 point socket (vs a 12 point) to avoid doing any initial damage to the lug bolts when first installing them. Hand tightened with the socket, and then used a torque wench at 82~ft. lbs. to tighten them up.Rechecked torque last week and they all were still tightened to the initial 82~ft.lbs. I initially torqued them on.Won't hesitate to buy again if I needed another set.

These are the same tread length as the factory lugs on my VW but the bolt heads and the ball seat are different enough that it is changing how much torque I need byo keep the wheels on.I torqued these to 80 lb ft (just like the factory ones) and they were noticably easier to remove from the wheel than the factory lugs.I would recommend factory lug bolts.

Amazon confirmed that they would fit my c300 sport, but they don’t they look similar but, after installation, the car didn’t move and when it did it, it made noise, they are just slightly longer than needed, or it is just a problem of the head design that lets the nut to go deeper.I had to buy Mercedes OEM, no problem with them. Those were a waste of money and time.

Description states that shank length is 28mm, I verified this with two different calipers and found that the shank length is actually only 23.33mm which is much shorter then the stated length. That being said these were unable to reach the hub threads as these bolts were so short. Would not recommend.

Nothing to get excited about. I needed to replace the wheel bolts because the "wonderful" tire shop folks over torqued and messed up the original lugbolt threads on my 2014 Mercedes E250 4 matic. The only difference I could see between these and the factory is that the thread go up the entire shank on these. Also, the head is a little longer.
