I love these tomato cages, why can't we find them anymore!

These tomato cages are very sturdy, tall and easy to fold/unfold. I have bought the EZ Grow cage for flower plants so I thought I would give their taller tomato cages a try. I have not been disappointed. Very solid construction. I expect to be using these for many years to come and storing them should be a breeze (I am thinking just a nail on the wall of the shed and pop these babies up there for next year). My tomato plants are not that tall yet but they clearly will get a lot of support from these cages, I would recommend these to anyone who wants a long lasting tomato cage. They may cost more than the typical cage but they are well worth it.

I was hesitant to pay the price for these, but after reading the reviews I decided to get two for my heritage tomatoes that needed good support in smart pots. I am beyond pleased that I invested the money. They are incredibly well made and solid. A friend who grows heritage tomatoes in containers saw these and decided to buy them, as well. I’m sure they’ll last for years and I’ll be able to store them out of the way in the winter (or use them for winter vegetables). One container has a full size tomato plant, the other has two dwarf cherry tomatoes, both planted about 3 weeks ago and growing happily. Worth every penny.

SO STURDY! I’m sick and tired of buying flimsy cages that lose their structure shape! I really splurged on these because you get what you pay for. I thought they were pricey, but when I got them I was blown away. They are tall and welded in a way that is very sturdy, but also has a brilliant “hinge”-like feature so that it folds flat. These will last for decades. Very happy with this purchase and will be buying more in the future. Highly recommend!

PROS -Heavy duty - the gauge wire is heavier than any cage I have seen. I have used some for three seasons and no rust or bending and works as well as day 1 and looks the same. This will be the 4th year.Storage - fold up easily and consistently. No issues. Folds up completely flatDiameter - bigger than most which is good for production and stability. None have fallen over and they are round. The rings of support are in the tomato range because of this diameterCONS - I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the followingPricey - I buy more every year so I sneak up on all that I need at that price. I highly recommend these plant cages because they are easy to unfold/set up, easy to take down/fold and easy to store/hang on a hook or nail. They are very sturdy - even though we experience high winds where we live, these EZGrow TC-4-2 supports have no trouble holding up the tomato plants and peppers we grew this year. The cages were delivered quickly and arrived safely. When winter arrives, we will hang them on a nail on the wall of our garage until spring. --Laura

These tomato cages are amazing! I love how well they support my plants. I have two cheaper cages and the tomato plants are so big they make them tip but these cages haven't moved at all. I really love how they fold flat for easy storage when not in use. Buying more next season so I can get rid of my other cages.
