Line 6 HX Stomp XL, Black

The Line 6 HX Stomp XL is an amazing device. The effects possibilities are endless. Learning to create and edit sounds via the controls on the device is little tricky but the free HX Edit software from the Line 6 website eliminates this issue. I have mine connected to my PC and do the editing via mouse. Brilliant piece of equipment.

I have owned countless line 6 products. This is one of the best, and the first time I chose to buy less than the flagship model. I watched many YouTube videos on this and it’s a little brother, this really measures up to all my expectations & more. Very satisfied, would buy again

I have been a plugin player recently and this unit has been excellent vs what I have in plugins. The flexibility is insane and it sounds fantastic. Great value for the money. It sounds great with my current pedals, and now I have everything I need consolidated on one small board.

This may be the last pedal I may "need" to buy. Usually I'm against multi effects units, I'm a big analog guy, but for some reason this pedal is an exception. It's no longer a concern of whether it sounds good with this pedal. It sounds just as good as you can dial in a tone properly, all things considered (I.e. input impedance for low end response and better feel). I've watched several videos including blind tests with A and B comparisons between analog units and the helix stomp and many times I picked what was I thought as the real thing, but actually turned out to be the helix. What also captivated me to buy this thing was how simple the interface is and ease of use. I haven't even read the manual and I feel like I know most of the controls from fooling around with it and maybe watching one or two videos. On top of the fact that this thing is under $1,000 and can fit in a single bag along with many of my other musical equipments (MPC live 2, midi keyboards, cords, laptop), This has made this such a convenience for extremely portable live setups. The range of sounds on this thing is insane. Bass sounds? Check. Guitar sounds!? Check. Synth sounds!? It has one of the best set of synth sounds and the tracking is phenomenal. The synth sounds to me are superior to what you get with the fractal stuff. And don't even talk about the effects smh. What's crazy with the effects loops you can still incorporate your favorite amps and pedals into your whole setup and create a hybrid scenario, replacing several pedals on your pedalboard functionally and sonically. The quad cortex may have some of the amp accuracy beat on some models, but if you dial it in it'll be almost identical, for half the price, with MORE effects making this a more versatile unit. Not to mention how easy it is to use compared to a fractal unit for example. I know the stadium is being released soon, but honestly in this form factor and price this is honestly unbeatable. In addition, out of these three units this is the only unit that has a plugin version, in which they sell you the plugin version at 1/4 the price if you register it. Absolute insanity. My only two critiques are if I could get slightly more DSP power (which you honestly don't need most the time), and a better looper. I have no clue why I didn't buy this earlier.

This pedal is built like a tank and would be a great investment for any serious guitar player. The possibilities are almost limitless when it comes to sounds.... you get the sound and editing power of the Helix Rack/Pedal for less than half the price.

I have still the HX Stomp on my small pedalboard for on the street giggin. I had the HX Effects and the Pod GO. The XL, for me, suits best for my bigger board and is one of my fave products in tha house. The Amazon offer was best, fast delivery, well packed.

Es un excelente pedal que requiere dedicarle mucho tiempo para entenderlo, sin embargo a resultado muy funcional, yo lo combiné con algunos pedales análogos,las emulaciónes son buenas aún que para tocar en vivo sigo usando mi amplifcador ya que aún no logro sacar ese sonido con la emulaciónes. me resolvió mucho el uso de los snapshots y el poder controlar vía midi algunos de mis pedales como el dd500 y el whammy, gracias a eso puedo concentrarne más en tocar y no en estar activando y desactivando varios pedales al mismo tiempo. Las saturaciones son buenas sin embargo prefiero usar algunos pedales de drive que ya tenia. Lo único que no me agrada es que el pedal de expresión no es exacto se me ha dificultado poder usarlo con los efectos del hx stomp, aún no logro entender si es el pedal o alguna configuración de hx.
