Senior Multivitamin Tablets are cost-effective, work wonders, & can be crushed & mixed w/ wet food
I have several +15 y/o senior cats that started losing muscle mass & were less energetic so the vet recommended I start giving them a multivitamin.I purchased the Senior Cat Multivitamin Chewable Tablets as they’re more cost-effective than the chewable treats. The problem is that none of my cats would eat the tablet, not even the one we call “garbage disposal” bc he’ll basically eat anything. So, I used a pill crusher & mixed it with their wet food & now they all love it.I’ve included pictures showing the pill crusher & the tablet next to a Temptations treat & a Cheerios for size reference. I’ve been using them for about a month & they’ve already gained some weight, they’re more energetic (even playful), & their coats are shinier. I have now added them to my monthly subscribe & save delivery.

Convenient and easy to use when feeding an Organic Rice and chicken meal to a sickly or elderly cat.
This is the 4th time I've purchased the 90 count multiple Vitamin for Cats through Amazon. They are sometimes called "NuCat" in descriptions elsewhere, I like them for my cats for their ease of use.First, I learned to give pills by watching my Vet. After he popped them in their mouths towards the back he would massage their upper neck, it is easier to do than describe. The will swallow them! You can also pop them in the pill crusher and mix with food. They crush into a fine powder.Just like vitamins for humans they have a risk of non absorbtion, yet I have seen this particular brand recommended in an article by a vet explaining how to feed sick cats, or uti cats plain chicken and rice with a supplement. If you look at the percentage mix, you can see that the B12 is low for a sick cat. Ask your vet to be safe, a higher concentration of a B12, if the Vet did not inject them, might be needed.Only testing with bloodwork before and after a round of meds will give you valuable information about how it is working. VetriScience has changed the packaging for this product. It is now in all black bags. Check the expiration date on the older white bottles, if you get that. i was disappointed that my bottle expires 1/26 as I'm used to these being usable a ways out but with my cats getting over 14 years old I'm certain i will use them up!>Sweetie>, my 14 year old is having health problems and I'm making this a daily vitamin for her and her brother Peachy, pictured. And good luck finding an expiration date on the new black bags, somebody please write a review about that please.Cats have to have taurine, read more about it. Most home diets, even if just for rounds of short illness, recommend a supplement. Some vets have even mentioned this brand, and my Vet, RIP, he sold it in his office.

Revising my review
Update: Revising my review. I think my cat had fur mites. Not fleas but burrowing mites/chewing lice that were driving him nuts and making him sick. I didn't know because he's my first cat and I saw no fleas (which is the only thing I knew that could cause his symptoms other than an allergy). He is mostly indoors but I have a large lot with a screen of trees in the front where he loves to play. I now suspect he got burrowing mites (that we call red bugs down south) from laying in pine straw and leaves. I've gotten red bugs from sitting in pine straw before and I know what that non-stop burning and itching feels like. I think he was vomiting from nervousness and fatigue. Within 24 hours of administering PetArmor Plus, his symptoms stopped. The other drops I was putting on him were flea and tick only. PetArmor Plus (which I found in Walmart) contains the same active ingredients as Frontline plus but is cheaper and kills fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice. So I came back to update my review. I don't want to unfairly ding these guys for my oversight. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that Jack no longer likes the taste of these. I used to be able to give it to him with his Pet Honesty Hairball treats and he chew it right up. Now I'm having to work hard to hide them in food or treats and even then, he will sometimes sus it out and leave it or spit it out.Original review: I got these 11/29. I started to notice he had more itching and overgrooming than ever before. He's shedding more than usual. He is mostly white with long hair so he started getting streaks of pink (fresh blood) and brown (dried blood) on his fur but I didn't realized it could be these vitamins. Now it is 12/20 and he vomited this morning. I feel like a monster for giving him these this long without making the association. This is the only really new thing I have introduced and while I cannot prove it is these, I am going to stop giving him these to see if his condition improves. Other than regular food, he gets Pet Honesty Hairball treats, some of the lickable treats, greenies, and fish oil. He is only a 1.75 years old. He is not overweight (9.5 pounds). No current health problems except this new issue.

Daily Vitamin
My cat, Aurora, receives one with her food every morning. I've been giving her this brand of vitamins for almost two years. Aurora is a very picky eater, but usually always eats the vitamin with her food. She may leave it if she isn't that hungry and doesn't eat all her food, but she always successfully eats it at the end of the day without much trouble. As for her being healthy, her vet always compliments her fur and her good bill of health; however, this is only one step of keeping your cat healthy. Ensure you're providing a mositire rich based diet and giving other nutrients rich foods/treats. At a point when I had to provide Aurora dry food due to finances, Aurora had a lot more problems eating the vitamin. Switching back to wet food helps so much in ensuring she eats her vitamin.

Smells awful like chemicals!
These are fowl. Smell awful like a chemical and my cats won’t eat them. Tried crushing it into food and they still won’t eat it, I imagine because of the smell. Don’t waste your money. They should have given them a flavor like a treat.
