Powerful Quick, and Reliable Ironing Performance!
The Sunbeam Turbo Steam Iron (1700-watt) works great! It heats up quickly and gives strong, steady steam that removes wrinkles fast even on thick clothes. I love how smoothly it glides and how comfortable it is to hold. The steam and heat settings are easy to adjust, and the vertical steam feature is a nice bonus for curtains or hanging clothes. The anti-drip and self cleaning features make it how maintenance, which i really appreciate.Overall, it's reliable, efficient, and perfect for everyday use. I definitely recommend it to anyone needing a solid steam iron.

great new iron, quality built like they used to be.
We owned this exact iron for 35 years when the cord winder broke. We were excited to find this replacement! It's exactly the same as our 35 year old unit, same heavy weight too! This iron lets you glide the iron over the cloths, no applying pressure, etc... to get the wrinkles out. Out old unit lasted 35 years, we are expecting this one will outlast us.

An Overall Quality Iron
I am probably one of the few millennials who actually SERIOUSLY irons. My cord from my last iron caught on fire, and because I iron daily, I knew I needed something to prevent that from happening. I love that this iron has a retractable cord so I never have to worry about the cord twisting in awkward ways and wearing down eventually. I also appreciate it's sturdiness. I took one star off because my clothes don't get as straight as with some of my older irons, but this definitely does the trick. I recommend giving it a try.

The listing on this iron is/was wrong
It’s a really nice iron except it has the wrong information on it. It is not a TurboSteam, it’s a SteamMaster, and it’s not 1700 watts. It’s 1400 watts. It has a stainless steel plate. I’ve gotten the wrong iron twice, now, because I just found out that the listing has been wrong.I’ll just keep the first one they sent and return the second one. I don’t even want to try to explain this to anyone again.

Good and Bad (Why only one star?)
You're probably wondering why I'm about to say some nice things about this Iron that I gave a one star review to. Read on;This Iron has some really nice features. Good solid weight, not light or too heavy but substantial. It heats quickly and gets hot enough to get the wrinkles out of my shirts and sheets. The settings are on the handle which makes it easy to adjust. It slides easily on most fabrics. I find it easy to fill the iron with a cup which was supplied with a previous iron. (No cup supplied with this one). Good safety features. Really good burst of steam when you press that button. Here's where the one star comes in-Although the title says Sunbeam Turbo Steam iron with 1700 watts that is not what you get. If you read the description further down the Amazon listing you will see it's the Sunbeam SteamMaster with 1400 Watts. This was reported to Amazon 2 weeks ago and still not corrected. It occasionally leaves water spots even with the iron only half filled. The retractable cord hangs up when retracting. You have to pull it out a few inches every few feet when it gets hung up to continue to retract. The sprayer doesn't spray evenly so some parts of the spray are fine mist while other are large droplets.I hope you found this review helpful.
