Cardas Quality
Very well made. Connections click, feel solid, nice finish. A little heavy, but don’t seem to put stress on pre-outs. Cardas quality-expensive...but in this case, yo do get what you pay for.

Great sound
I recently got a pair of these after I bought a new preamp. I didn’t want to sacrifice the old balanced cable I was using (Transparent Plus), so I went for adapters. These are working really well. I can’t tell the difference in the sound (quality or volume), except for what I notice from the new preamp. And I’m really happy with that. So, if you have a nice pair of balanced cables and you need a single-ended adapter, I highly recommend these. By the way, I am reviewing the male-to-male version for single-ended output from the new preamp to the balanced input on my headphone amp.
