Chris Jericho Does It Again!
Chronicling his WWE career from 2007 to 2013, Chris Jericho was the wrestling industry’s most despised villain in an era when they were in short supply. Whether he was feuding with Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, Edge, or CM Punk to name a few, the WWE Universe kept their eyes glued to the TV screen and those in attendance got so aggressive that they nearly rioted. In addition to being a wrestling heel, Jericho was also the front man for the heavy metal act Fozzy and a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. No matter what he did in life, he was always the best in the world at it. Millions of Jerichoholics couldn’t all be wrong.Watching Chris Jericho’s multiple careers unfold before my very eyes was satisfying to me as a reader. The fact that a small town boy from Canada could reach such heights of fame and fortune is inspiring to anybody who wants to follow their dreams. He’s done it all and he’s maintained friendships with some of the best in the industry, whether it’s members of his own WWE locker room, James Hetfield from Metallica, or M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold. All Jericho needed was a fiery passion and a tireless work ethic and he achieved everything he wanted and more. Wrestling championships, music awards, rave reviews, the accolades just kept piling on for Y2J. As a fan of his work for many years, it was an honor to live vicariously through him while reading this book.Just like his previous two memoirs, A Lion’s Tale and Undisputed, with the help of his ghostwriter, Jericho employs a witty style when telling his life stories. If he wasn’t so busy with pro-wrestling and heavy metal, he could easily enjoy a career as a standup comedian. Hell, he already has access to Hollywood’s biggest names due to his wrestling feud with actor Mickey Rourke and his time on Dancing with the Stars, so maybe that’s something he could do when he eventually hangs up his boots. He relies on pop culture references that are accessible to pretty much any age group, so there’s no need to worry about dud jokes. I don’t want to spoil the jokes for my audience, so that’ll be even more incentive to buy this book and laugh your asses off.If I could give one piece of criticism to this book, it’s that Chris Jericho has a habit of blowing through entire performances with just “it was a great match” (wrestling for WWE) or “it was a fun set” (touring with Fozzy). There are plenty of times when he goes into gory details such as how he lost a tooth during a ladder match with Shawn Michaels or how he injured his back during his final performance on Dancing with the Stars. However, there are also plenty of other high stakes events that I would have liked more details on. I let him get away with it since this is a celebrity memoir, but as an author myself, if I don’t point this lack of detail out, it’ll be a missed opportunity on my part. Show, don’t tell!Don’t let that last paragraph shy you away from purchasing this book, though. Whether you’re a wrestling fan, a music fan, or just a guy who likes to watch people succeed while having a good laugh, I highly recommend this memoir from Chris Jericho. After all is said and done, you’ll only have one question: “What are the ropes made out of?!” I’m kidding, of course. Spoiler alert: they’re made out of ropes! Got that, Jon Lovitz, or do you need thirty more minutes of haranguing the WWE superstars? A passing grade will go to this fast-paced fun fest!

More of the same writing, a lot less to write about
I enjoyed reading the book and enjoy the irreverent style of writing he does. However, it's not nearly as meaty as his first two books. Part of it, I blame on the relatively short timeline he was writing about. Stretching six years into 400 pages is a bit of a stretch. Another part of it is the relatively tame state of the WWE locker room. His first book had a ton of stories about different locker rooms. His second book was insightful as it was a very interesting time in the WWF/WWE locker room and in his career. The third book has some entertaining anecdotes that will make the time fly but there really isn't anything with any punch behind it aside from when he covers his trip to Iraq and the portion of the book that encompasses the HBK feud. And the lack of punch is where it goes from five stars to three. The locker room environment isn't as chaotic as it used to be. I understand that and don't really blame him for it. What I do take umbrage with is that he doesn't go into some more controversial stuff like him and Helms getting arrested or the rumored Kelly Kelly affair in which pictures are plastered all over the Internet; he seems hesitant to include anything that portrays him in a bad light other than stuff he can explain away easily. Even his rock n roll road stories are mild when compared to stories from rock bands of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.If you enjoyed the first two books, you'll enjoy this one. Just don't expect it to be as good.

A great Wrestling book.
I'm not the biggest wrestling fan on the planet and I actually enjoy reading about behind the scenes stuff more than I enjoy the end product. I was given this book as a gift and thought "Worth a shot".Indeed it was. I've since 'collected' all three of Chris Jericho's books, and all three are excellent. It's about a wrestler, but it's not exactly all about wrestling. It's about Chris Jericho, and it chronicles his rise from being a kid through today. This title is picks up where his previous book left off, as is his style. I highly recommend the three, read the first, you'll want to read the other two! His story is one that, you really don't get "to know" his story without reading it from the start.I especially like that he doesn't gloss over the parts most people would sweep out of his spotlight. You get to read it all, even the parts of his history that he admits he's ashamed of that most people would gloss over. In short, it's an honest book which makes it fairly unique as autobiographical works go. It's an awesome read.

Jericho 3 Goldberg 0 Ralphus 1
Somehow Jericho pulls off a third collection of anecdotes, life moments, and musings that entertain as well as enlighten. Being a Heavy Metal fan helps, and also a wrestling fan, but Jericho is a rare talent even if he is a Canadian (just kidding, Winnipeg is great). I guess the best endorsement I could give is that it induced me to want to get "The Road is Jericho" DVD set to see the feuds he vividly describes herein.I loved the story of how Shawn Michaels refused to help Chris on his road to recovery. If this means Jericho is unredeemable, then we're eager for a fourth volume, jerkies! This tome leaves you wanting to read more... AGAYN!

Another Frooty adventure by the Best in the World at what he does
Another amazingly well written and fun read by The Best in the World at what he does. Reading Jericho's books is like having him next to you just tell a bunch of amazing stories. Whether its his wrestling career the past seven years, music career, or other entertainment adventures, Jericho finds a way to keep each story engaging and quite humorous. I have been a Jerichoholic since his WCW debut and consider Chris Jericho one of the top 5 greatest talents in the wrestling business of all time. Love Fozzy and the fact that Jericho is a huge ambassador of Metal (Up the IRONS!) I just can't get enough of Jericho's stories. Cant wait to see Fozzy live in New Orleans in December! Get the book cause its definitely froot!

The Ayatollah of Rock and Literacy
I bought this because at a signing with Chris Jericho, Chris himself after signing my replica undisputed title told me to buy it. To be honest, even without being told by one of my favourite post New Generation wrestlers to do so, going on the strength of both A a lions Tale and Undisputed, I'd have bought this anyway. It's definitely the Back to the Future III of the trilogy, it's probably the weakest but not spectacularly so, it's not going to leave you with much of an impression of Chris Irvine as the first did throughout and second did in parts however, it is still well worth a read BAY BAY!

Great read
Still working my way through the book but loving what I've read, Jericho one of my favourite wrestlers 8f the ladt 20 years and watching shoot interviews on YouTube he comes across very interesting and genuine. This book is a true extension of this, well put together and a fun read.

Notching them up
This is a good third instalment from Y2J, but if you haven't read the first two instalments then this isn't the one to start with. By no means a bad read, but quite a whistle stop tour of a shorter period in his career where he accomplished ALOT!Jericholics will be pleased with the read and sit on offer, as well as the frequent anecdotes and stories that make the read quite compelling in many parts. This chapter certainly will appeal to a wider audience with the wrestling toned down, the music turned up and the dancing thrown in for good measure. Some spots missed rather than hit- the top 10s for example didn't do much for me personally.Overall, as a Y2J fan, I enjoyed this and would recommend it- though there are better books (his first 2 included) that are probably better options.

Another great book from the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla
Another great book from the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla! This one covers what at this point is the middle of his wrestling career and is just as fascinating as his other best sellers (available at all sporting goods stores). Gives a great insight into the psychology the wrestlers use on the audience. These ain't no dumb brutes! I think what Chris has done to enlighten people about the business without hurting it is great. He really is The Best In The World At What He Does. Thanks man.

The Best ( Wrestling Autobiography) in the World
Another chance to catch up on the life events of Chris Jericho.Wrestler,Front Man, Dancer & Podcaster. You get minds eye views of his feuds with HBK, Mysterio & Punk as well has his many returns. Including the one with the light up jacket where he didn't speak. He also talks about the time Batista took the rap for bleeding in a match and paid a sh*tload of $ out in fines, the Brazilian Flag incident and twice upsetting his childhood hero HBK.You also get an insight into life as a Fozzy front man and touring stories of drinking with Avenged Sevenfold & Bullet for my Valentine, as well as the time his friend convinced him that he was going to star in a new Brad Pitt movie after he liked his "Crazy Eyes".If you liked Chris's last two books you will love this one, if you didnt why the hell are you starting at book 3?

3rd book and still on a roll
The term "the difficult third album" can be applied to this book because to do two books about your life is a hard task but this man pulled it off, so when i picked up the third book, i was abit worried. i needn't hav worried because Jericho has cracked his story telling style an was very entertaining (like the man himself) and I couldnt put it down.

Excellent
Another great entry by Chris Jericho, which rival Mick Foley's four autobiographies. Jericho is definitely one of the best in the world 🌎

Fantastic book. I wasn't really that much interested in the Fozzy parts but some did have good parts. The wrestling parts are great though and should be added to any wrestling fan.

Great book. Great wrestler
Best of the 3 although difficult to pick. Fozzy stuff is arguably more entertaining than the wrestling, found that with the last book as well which was an awesome surprise.
