This railing is pretty good quality and fairly easy to install. It has received a few nice compliments, especially from health care providers who tend to an elderly relative. One note on the installation - the masonry bit that comes with it fits a 1/2 drive drill. My hammer drill only fits a 3/8 bit. To get around this I first drilled a smaller hole with a smaller masonry bit that fit my hammer drill. Then I used a regular cordless drill that could hold the 1/2 chuck bit to make the final hole. It worked fine.

I really like that different fasteners were included even included a masonry bit. Also included is an extra piece of each fastener. I bought 2 and now the steps on my garden wall are safe for everyone.

Their approach the instructions leaves a lot to be desired. But the product is great, as is the value so it was worth the time spent figuring portions out & redoing those not clear.

I use it to enable myself and guests to step up an awkward stair to the front porch.I was displeased that it had places on the rail that had to be repainted (I had family to help at the time), but I rated it high anyway despite the inconvenience because it is the best I found.

This hand rail is exactly what I wanted. It's graceful but sturdy and does not overwhelm to look of my front porch (just two steps up, but I need it for balance). My installer did a good job, too.

When this item was unboxed , one of the legs connected for the bolt was badly bent. Also the holes for the bolts are not large enough for the bolt to go through. It is a mess. I would send it back but need it and man here to install today. Do not order this item. Would not work at all if not for a great handyman

This railing is just what I was looking for. Once installed, it is very sturdy, which is the most important aspect of me purchasing it. That said, I must say that the packaging and installation instructions (practically non-existent) leave a lot to be desired. 3 of the pieces were slightly bent during shipping, but I was able to straighten them enough to assemble the railing, ended up just mostly cosmetic. Fortunately, I have a friend that helped me assemble and install the railing. This is not an item that would be easy to install by one person.Overall, I am happy with this railing. It certainly makes it much safer for me to use my front steps now.

Now that I've gotten older...most of my guests are old too. So, I purchased the handrail. It is beautiful and added to the look of my home. They are sturdy. I love them.
