I bought these moisture-wicking pants for my husband to wear on our trip to Disneyland in Florida, knowing the humidity would be intense. First off, thanks to some of the reviews that suggested going a size up. I typically wear a 40Wx30L, so going by the chart should have gotten an XL. But, on advise from one review in particular, I go a XXL. I'm glad I did. The XL might have fit in the waist, but the hip/thigh/butt area would have been uncomfortably snug. The XXL gives just enough room for free movement in that area (thanks in part to the spandex) without looking/feeling baggy. So, whatever you would normally wear (based on the chart), GO UP ONE SIZE! If I had to guess, I'd say the length is about 31"....a little longer than I'd like, but definitely manageable. Overall, the pants look great and feel great on. Quality seems good, but we'll see how it holds up to a 4-day camping trip. One thing I did not do yet is test the claim of being "waterproof". I'm a little skeptical about that claim, but honestly even if they're just mildly water RESISTANT (which is not the same as waterproof), I could live with that. I did buy a second pair right away in a different color once I confirmed fit. So I'm all in....hopefully they won't disappoint when put through the rigors of the great outdoors. So far, I am pleased with the purchase.

Would have like better if made out of cotton but they fit well, light and comfortable. Seemingly well made but I'll see how they hold up. For casual wear around the house should be o.k. but I prefer cotton as it's a cooler breathable material.

I love this travel pants. They are lightweight, flexible , comfortable and water resistant. Having many zippers is a main reason I bought them for travel and it’s worth every penny. Does the job well.

Love these pants. Just the right balance between a straight leg pant and ease of movement. Won’t hang down too low. Love them. I have five pairs now.

Lightweight yet durable. They do a good job drying quickly (depending on environmental conditions). I bought them for those reasons and not so much for the many pockets. I'm amused that the word "tactical" used in the item description apparently means "lots of zippered pockets". I dinged them a couple of stars due to the main pockets. The lining of the pockets is a mesh material, which is good for aeration and draining any liquids that get in. Unfortunately if one puts keys in those pockets, the tips of the keys will work themselves into the mesh openings and gradually enlarge the mesh holes. The holes will eventually become large enough where objects will fall through them and down the pant leg. There are additional pockets one can use though, but some can be less effective than others depending on what's being put into them. Overall I would recommend them; just bear in mind the mesh pockets will eventually tear over time. The right front pocket of mine lasted almost a year; your mileage may vary.

I love how they fit. I wear 36x30, and the large fits perfect. They are the perfect amount of stretchy, comfortable but not too much. The belt is silly, but I did not buy the pants for the belt. These are my new favorite pants, and I plan to buy at least one more.
