I already have 2 Arlo Pro2 cameras with base station vmb4000. They work perfectly since day one of purchasing them years ago. Decided to expand my surveillance at home because of my great experience with Arlo, but sadly I received faulty cameras. They would not record any motion event at night unless I start live streaming, which then it’d disconnect for 2 seconds and come back on.(makes a loud click sound when that happens) And the video recording shows my movement for 1 second then there’s a gap (2 seconds approximately missing from footage) and it shows as if I teleported a few feet..Also about the video recordings, I checked the Pro4 compatibility on Arlo’s website prior to purchasing. On their website it shows that the Base Station VMB4000 is compatible with the Pro4. However it didn’t mention anywhere that it will NOT show your recorded events via the mobile app. You’d need to remove USB storage and view your recordings from PC.. which defeats the purpose of the smart camera. Otherwise you need to buy the newer Base Stations.
