Is the wiring on this the same as the atwood gc6aa-10e 6 gallon water heater?

Yes, the only difference is you need to put in a receptacle using the 14-2 cable from the camper breaker panel . I cut the old 14-2 feed going to the hot water heater and wired in a receptacle using that cable. In our camper everything else was the same.

does this water heater come with a door adapter kit?

no, the door kit will come with the adapters.

What is the dimensions. it says 16x16x14. same model number on other sites say 12 3/4 x 12 3/4 x 19.

When you open the tabs the outside (the pieces you screw to the sidewall) from tab to tab is 16x16 however this is meant to go in an opening that is 12 3/4 x 12 3/4. If the water heater you are replacing is a older atwood 6 gallon you will need the door conversion kit as they have changed dimensions on the new 6 gallons

Can this replace Atwood gc10-4e?

the tank is 6 gallons, it comes with a preinstalled 110volt plug to connect to a wall socket, it also comes with a green, orange, white, and blue wires that connect to a dual pannel switch kit. These wires turn on or off the propane/electric heating elements or allow them to run together. there is no thermostat control and the water is very very hot but it does have an automatic control not sure what temp it is set at.
