Easy to use endoscope with good picture quality at a great entry level price.
I unpacked the endoscope and expected to have to charge it up before use but found it was fully charged out of the box. I had the camera up and running within a few seconds after powering it on. The image quality is very good at close range (a few inches) but the image gets a little grainy as the distance increases, but is still quite good. The built in menu system is intuitive and easy to navigate. Connecting to a PC to retrieve the photos and videos is a breeze and Windows 10 recognized the device immediately as an external USB storage device ready for browsing. This is a good general purpose endoscope with a 4.5 inch color screen so there is no need to mess around with apps or getting your phone or tablet to connect to it. The price is good for the functionality and comes complete with protective carry case so is easy to keep in the tool box for when you need it. I like the simplicity of this endoscope.

Great little tool for your toolbox
This is a great tool to have handy!!I bought on a whim while I was doing some home repairs and now I love it. I've had it for almost two weeks now and have used it several times other than what I had intended for.Super easy to use, I had it ready for use in less than 15 minutes. The functions and menu are simple to understand and can be used with one hand while you work the cable with the other. The screen resolution is not excellent but I can see close up details clearly. The price is great for the cable, hand held screen, and case. I am definitely glad I made this purchase.

Works but not spectacular
It works ok for looking behind walls and down vents. I can confirm what others say; definitely difficult to get the right angle and maneuver the camera when using it on long stretches. The snake is long for sure, but makes me question why since it is difficult to use it on long stretches. The picture quality is ok for getting the overall features or identifying objects. The camera can be a little too sensitive to bright reflections or spots so the dynamic range is not that great. Also can confirm that you might get the impression the unit doesn’t work if you don’t press the snake connector firmly into the unit. But the instructions are decently clear about doing this. The English could be improved on the instructions tho. Otherwise, it is a decent product for the do-it-yourselfer.

Good value endoscope for a home owner or DIY'er
I previously owned (technically I still own) a single-lens endoscope that connects to my phone over wifi. It works okay enough, but it took a bit of effort to set up, and frankly I haven't used it in a while because I often need to update the app on my phone or troubleshoot simple issues. This model is a welcome change of pace from that, where I can reliably expect that the unchanging screen is going to always work with the USB-connected endoscope--assuming I've charged it, of course. The I'm quite happy in my short time with this endoscope. At first I thought dual lens might be a bit of a gimmick, and I can't say I'll use it very often, but I have seen occasions where twisting it to get the tip pointed at just the right angle can be a little bit tricky, so after trying it a bit in a wall cavity while doing an ethernet trace, I actually came to quickly appreciate having the dual lens option to get a bit better awareness of what's going on where I can't look with my own two eyes.Backing up a little bit, the first thing I'm greeted with is a reasonable-quality case. It's not something that feels incredibly premium, but it also isn't so bad that I'd knock it. It's serviceable for what it needs to be, which is a way to keep my screen, my scope, and my accessories (tip accessories/charging cables/etc) all in one place, and protected. Given my previous wifi endoscope didn't have one, I was glad to see this had one at all. The square shape does seem a little odd, given that the screen is far from square in dimensions, although it seems likely Depstech was trying to keep the cable coiled in a circle, which fits better in a square than a rectangle. But I imagine it could have been tweaked a bit to more closely match the shape of the screen unit itself, and that might be nice for future revisions/models.In my excitement, of course I immediately took the screen unit out, powered it on, and plugged in the scope (without reading any instructions). The buttons are pretty clearly labeled what they do, and after about 30 seconds of tinkering, I was able to switch between single and dual lens display mode, take still photos, and videos, as well as toggle light settings as well as the display's built-in flashlight. The buttons mostly have two modes, with a short press vs a long press activating a different function. After a few attempts, I started getting it right on the first try, although I'm sure if I put it away for a while and come back to it I'll reverse whether it's short|long or long|short in terms of the button orientation. The photos seem to come out fairly well to me. I'm not necessarily very picky about the highest quality photos here, and I think expectations should probably be realistic, but I had no real complaints about being able to make out any details once the lights were set to an appropriate brightness and the scope was in the right position. I don't really need to save images for the kind of use I have in mind as a homeowner, but it's certainly nice to have the option, and an included micro SD card that should be enough for my needs. Using (included) external storage is nice so I don't have to worry about running out of space if I've got a spare microSD, although again, for my use it will probably be limited to looking live inside a wall or pipe for whatever I need.I can't say I've tested the IP67 waterproofing on this personally, so I'm hoping that holds up. The screen doesn't feel like a tank, so I will still be careful with handling it in general, but I don't get the impression that it's made poorly either--the finish is nice and everything fits together as it should. No rattling or creaking or anything to note that would indicate issues with quality of the device. The one thing I don't love about it is the flap which covers the storage slot, reset button, and charging port. It serves its purpose, but it feels like one of the lower quality parts on the unit. It will probably still last just fine, especially since I only really expect to use it when I need to plug in the charging cable, so I don't think I will have issues with it, but it is the one thing that feels out of line with the rest of the unit. Still, it doesn't feel like much to be concerned with.Overall this seems like a well made unit, for a pretty reasonable price. Dual lens and the quality of display probably increase the cost a bit, and may put it out of range for some users. There are cheaper options that can do a decent chunk of what this unit can do, but the extras are something I appreciate a bit more after trying to use them. Did I need to spend the extra on dual lens? Probably not. But I do see it coming in handy in my future.

Solid inspection camera for the price
Camera is small, light weight with a rechargeable battery. If you know about these cameras you’ll know the picture isn’t fantastic on any but the highest quality ones. However this camera has a pretty good screen, better than the lower quality ones under it but not quite as good as the 4 figure $$$$ ones. The camera lead moves and bends as it should and all the accessories work as they should. If something happens to it then I would likely buy one to replace it.
