Paula Deen Riverbend Nonstick Cookware Pots and Pans Set, 12 Piece, Gulf Blue Speckle

Love this cookware. Does not scratch glass top stoves and works great. Easy clean up.

I had bought a PD pot at AAFES, and really liked it. I wanted to replace my 37 year old Revere Wear with something non-stick because when cooking beans or simmering things for a long time food tended to stick and burn. So as much as I cherished my wedding shower gift cookware, it was time to update. I found this set on Amazon and gave it a shot. I was a little disappointed to find that it is not as heavy as the one I purchased previously, but it's not thin flimsy metal either. So far I'm happy with it and the set has a good range of sizes. It is an attractive teal blue speckled enamel, it doesn't match the blue of the single pot, but that's not a showstopper. It was cheaper here by about $30 than what I finally found for in store. I would definitely recommend this set, (I think it was made in Indonesia-I prefer to buy American but could not find any), just remember it's not very heavy duty but certainly adequate for everyday cooking.

I had a red PD cookware set that was about 9 years old that had just had it. The red coating was coming off and the inside was no longer non stick. I wanted a new set & was thrilled when my husband found this. I had one issue with shipping (the one smaller pan was dented) but I don't think it was Amazon's fault, but they quickly replaced my set.I LOVE that PD listened and did away with the older style that had the silver bolts inside (for the handles) because they were always horrid to get clean. These pans are solid inside and they wash up super easy and cooking & cleanup is a breeze again.

I was gifted a frying pan from this set a few years ago. Even though it was already well used at that point, I got at least 2 good years out of it and loved it. The time came where I had to replace it and I knew this was the only one I wanted to get. I decided to get the whole set this time and I am so glad I did. I am in LOVE with them. Lots of brands claim "non-stick" but end up being crap, that is NOT the case with these. If you need a new set, you will not be disappointed in these!

Had the gourmet "aqua -previously known as Robin egg" first and was sad at Christmas when they could not be found ,( I have a pot hanger-they have rings). Bought this set and liked it but it was not as stylish , no copper accent and no hanging rings. The aqua speckle became available so I gave my Riverbend Gulf blue to my daughter and bought the gourmet Aqua. They have hanging rings and match the extra pans and pots I had bought with the first set. The Gulf blue seemed to have an updated better nonstick (The aqua is pretty darn good too)

Loved the color, durability and longevity was not there, however they cooked well while they lasted. Versatile and cost effective.
