Works great
Installed out the box, the fixing screws are minute, so I didn't bother, just slipped straight into the PC drive bay.

Cheap and cheerful
I needed an adapter in a hurry and bought this as it was dead cheap. The casing is plastic but then what do you expect for the money? It worked with my old m.2 drive without any issues.

Saved My Upgrade from Being a Total Disaster!
I was in the middle of a PC upgrade when I hit that sinking feeling... my new motherboard didn't have a slot for my old M.2 SATA boot drive. It was a big problem, and I thought I'd have to buy a whole new SSD. I found this adapter and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. Much better value than buying a new drive. It worked perfectly straight out of the box. I just plugged my M.2 drive into the card, put it in the 2.5-inch enclosure, and connected it like a normal SATA drive. The PC booted up from it instantly with no issues at all. It was a complete lifesaver. My only minor negative is that the mounting screw inside didn't fit with my particular M.2 drive (a standard 2280 length). So, I couldn't screw the nvme down properly. However, the SATA connector holds it in place quite well, and for extra security, I just used a small piece of electrical tape to hold the end down. It's been working fine ever since. A brilliant, simple solution to a very frustrating problem. A note for other buyers: Make sure your M.2 drive is a SATA-based one (usually has B+M keys). This is NOT compatible with NVMe (PCIe) M.2 drives!

I Know It's Cheap But Still Expect It To Function!
This is the cheapest adaptor on Amazon so more fool me for not paying more for a better one, HOWEVER that doesn't excuse them from selling items that don't work. Doesn't even register in windows even when using Easeus partition master or windows disk manager the drive isn't visible in any way so appears not to function at all. These could do with a light on them so you at least know it is powered on and working, all it appears to be right now is a dead circuit board, a piece of paper feels sturdier than this thing too and it comes with near microscopic level screws they are so small i had to buy a screwdriver for fixing glasses from my local pound shop as the only screwdriver small enough to use on them and even that felt too big... My advice, just don't be a cheapskate like me and pay a few quid more for one that works to save yourself time and money.

Helped solve a mistake I made.
I mistakenly bought a M.2 sata ssd (NGFF) instead of a M.2 NVMe that I needed for my motherboard. Thankfully this little gizmo saved the day. Well, not quite saved the day. I still had to buy an NVMe. However, i used this gizmo to attach the M.2 sata (NGFF) as an extra SSD. Brilliant. Thank you. Very cheap and fantastic product. Great value for money.

Works well!
This works for both the SATA and the newer connection type (as in pic). I did not think it did at first but you just have to get it the right way round and persevere. It worked a treat in the end and I replaced my SSD in my laptop using the bundled sideway in short order. You went to the sight and followed instructions and did what it said. Writing this now using my new 1T drive!

Works and super cheap
If you need a straightforward M2 SATA to SSD adapter then just buy this. Wasn't too fiddly to fit, came with all the screws. Been using it for months without a single issue
