it says a 4 pack, does that mean 4 packages of the 4 colors, or one of each of the four colors? The different pictures make it confusing

How many more sheets will this print vs the standard cartridge? Is only the black the XL?

I don't know the exact amount but it is significant - I felt like I used to go through the regular ones so quickly and now I can go a long time without changing the cartridge. Not an exact answer but I am very pleased with the XL cartridges - just wish they weren't so expensive!

What is the difference between 288xl and 288? Also does remanufactured ink work decent ?

288XL is supposed to have more of the black ink than the regular 288. The black ink pretty much is the most use ink among all the color inks. Not sure if you meant EPSON remanufactured ink because I haven't tried that. But if you meant replacement inks then yes it works fine and a lot cheaper BUT be warned that the moment you upgrade your EPSON firmware that you will no longer be able to use the replacement inks - and that's a fact so DON'T upgrade your firmware if you want a cheaper but yet effective replacement ink to use for your Epson printer.
