Comfortable and adjustable
I was tired of the regular camo headgear quite frankly because it was very uncomfortable it felt like an itchy rag was on your face and it always seemed to get in the worst positions. With this headset it is comfortable the materials are warm so if it is not for winter it might be a little toasty but it is still breathable. The side straps make it easy to adjust to your comfort and it stays that way unlike other camo headgear! Such a great product I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve used it and been delighted with it!

Very warm, and perfect for cold weather hunting!
This is not a paid review. I ordered two of these on Friday (11-18) because cold weather hunting is fast approaching. One is a gift, and one is for me. I was shocked to find them in my mailbox already on Saturday (11-19). Perfect timing, because the weather had changed, and it was going to be a cold sit on Saturday night. I tried it on, fits good. And I like the fact that it is somewhat adjustable and you can tighten the strings to snug it up, or leave it looser. I left mine loose, because I like to be able to flip the piece that covers your nose down. I did take it off for a bit, because I thought I was warm...however I got chilled fast, so this thing will keep you warm. It does have a bit of a funny smell, so it probably needs to be washed first.Either way, I would recommend this to others...and I am actually online ordering the snow camo ones right now.

Not adjustable
The material seems nice and warm but if you're hoping the elastic drawstring will do anything at all, move on. I got my first mask last week and put it on and tried to tighten the drawstring. One side immediately broke. Amazon was great and arranged for a new one to be sent to me as they always do. I received that one today and put it on. This time, I was much more cautious with the drawstring. I pulled it slowly and gingerly.....and snapped the other side just as the mask was starting to tighten.I took a picture of both masks with the broken drawstring. The mask still seems decent. I'll probably just keep one and cut the drawstring off it entirely. First Choice should consider saving themselves the cost of putting these crappy drawstrings on if they aren't able to be used anyway.

It will work I guess
Cons: The "choice" and "adjustable" words in the product title are a bit misleading. The adjustment is an elastic cord which is, for some seemingly impractical reason, wound in a figure 8 through the top of the face hole and the top of the overlapped face mask. It's just weird. Adjusting the spring clips (which, by the way, are bound to get caught on anything you happen to pass by) only cinches the viewing hole: the face shield does not move up and down, its just sewed in place. So tightening the fit raises the entire hood, exposing your neck and shoulders. Also, the bottom of the neck area leaves the sides of your neck exposed, as there is a cutaway on each side for what appears to be a more ergonomic fit over the shoulders. You will need to wear a collared jacket, a scarf, or a hood over this to prevent the sides of your neck from being exposed.Pros: the material is warm and the pattern looks pretty decent.

Does the job at a great price:-) Already bought another...
I purchased this for my husband mostly for when he is outside snowplowing with our tractor or chopping wood but one could wear for many winter activities such as hunting, ice fishing, shoveling, sledding etc.. We live in a place where it can get very cold and windy (Central Wisconsin) and this has done a pretty good job protecting him from the elements. He is not one to fuss with putting extra stuff on and handles weather better than most but has used this numerous times already. I think it is of decent quality, quite thick and warm and somewhat adjustable with the side tabs. I felt like it might be a little difficult to see out of but so far for him, no problems. It is fairly large and therefore meant for a larger person or head, as it would be too large for me (I am an avg. sized woman). I was so impressed with it that I got one for my father in law as well because the price is right!

Keeping warm
It was freezing cold last few weeks so I finally got to try this out. I absolutely love this thing, especially with the adjustable quick draw cords and the soft material. It kept me warm and we had gusts up to 40MPH and below freezing temperatures. On one side the cord adjusts the hood to draw it up tight, the cord on the other side adjusts the face mask. Mine does not have as much white as the one in the picture, obviously people are going to get different cut outs from the material, personally I think mine is far better than the one in the picture, but it looks like results will vary.

Meh. I’d go with something better
This balaclava is only so-so. The chin piece is sewn in place and, unlike other designs, you can only wear it as shown—chin piece on, hood over head. Others I have seen and used allow you to pull the hood off and have it behind your head (like a hoodie) but this one is too tight for that, and the chin piece is sewn in place. The fleece is also thin and of mediocre pile.

Excellent choice! I also bought a Mossy Oak facemask ...
Excellent choice! I also bought a Mossy Oak facemask that is an excellent choice, as well. The difference is - that this one doesn't cover the back of your neck/shoulders as well, especially when you look down or bend over. It's a little too short. This one also has the draw strings to help keep the wind out - which I like. It will fit everyone a little different, but "good to go!"

Loose fit, but comfortable and warm
I have a big head, and this product fits loosely. Not quite as thick as I need for the full Canadian cold in the prairies, but it is great for 90% of the cold winter. For the extra 10%, I figure I will likely stay inside. The hood covers my head and face, and is adjustable to close the opening. It could be a bit longer to cover the neck a bit more, but I have a coat with a high collar. I recommend it for most types of cold weather though.

Great for hunting in the cold Alberta wind in November
I used this hunting in about -20 with a pretty serious wind chill. If you live in Alberta you know what I'm talking about. The fleece is quite thick and I found it to be very warm. The product is good quality, and is easily thrown into the wash after. My only complaint is that I found my neck was a bit chilly, I would suggest wearing a dickie or some kind of coverage that covers your neck and part of your chest so that no air seeps in. Overall this was an awesome purchase.

Glad I Gave it a Shot
Very comfortable, and kept my head and face very warm! I was hesitant to try it, as fleece stuff can be crappy, but is well made and as versatile as they say! Had a hard time with glasses fogging up when trying to cover my nose, but there's little avoiding that. Was good in minor winds, but likely wouldn't keep heavier winds out.

I am very happy with this product
I am very happy with this product.Pros: Fits very well, well made, elastic cords and clips to tighten (when it is cold, taking one's gloves off to tie strings sucks).Cons: The elastic cord is a bit thin and the clips a bit weak, so they may not last too long.

Will keep warm
The material appears to be of good and warmth quality, but it's short in lenght making or being easy to come out of the coat exposing partial the neck.
