This set deserves more the just FIVE stars!! They're very beautiful, well-made, and just perfect!!! I had these on my watchlist for about 4 months and finally purchased, and I'm glad I did!!! I'm going to look into a coffee mug set now because this particular set didn't come with them! BEAUTIFUL beautiful set!!! : )Oh...if I HAD to nitpick about anything, they do come with some tiny imperfections, but not enough to be bothered by, and the plates don't have their logo on them, which to me, is odd considering both size bowls do have it on the bottoms of them! Interesting!!

The plates arrived less than twelve hours after I ordered them (I live in Connecticut). What I noticed immeditaley was how well packaged they were: I have been ordering from Amazon for over 25 years and this was the best-packaged item I've ever bought. They were ingeniously well cushioned and secured.My only quibble is that the plate's color is not as varigated as the picture here shows; they are basically only slightly variagated--almost uniform. But what's nice is that they have dimples on the surface (not shown in the picture) which, I believe, will prevent food from sliding around (or off) should the user be standing with the plate and, let's say, a drink in the other hand. The dimples are about the size of an American half dollar, and are perhaps 1 or 2 millimeters deep.These are substantial plates (heavier than I imagined), but they are very nice and esthetically pleasing. A great value as well.

Love these plates! They’re the perfect size and the hammered look is nice. They microwave fine, don’t get hot, and line up well in the dishwasher too (it’s a pet peeve of mine to have to skip slots b/c of plate shape). After a month they’re holding up to my kids well. Happy with my purchase.

Nice plates, but very heavy. Beautiful color. I prefer to use these rather than regular dinner plates and except for the weight, they work well.

Love these dishes! Bought 2 sets of the bowls, small plates, and large plates to replace my old dishes. Love the glaze, pattern, and thickness of them. Been using them a few weeks now and they are holding up well. They seem very durable and have been fine in the dishwasher and microwave. Highly recommend them. They are a bit pricey, but I think they'll hold up over time and are very well made.

These plates are more beautiful than in the catalog pictures. The vivid red is so perfect with the red and green holly berry china I wanted to use them with. They were packaged so well there was not a chip or scratch anywhere. I had them washed and on our table within an hour of their delivery. Excellent delivery time as well - you will not be disappointed if you buy from this company
