When I received the product it was way too hat to stand outside and install. I waited and after a couple months, I attempted to install. I got the product on and the cover fell off. I was out of the refund period, but I contacted the seller and they sent a new one. Received it 2 days ago, installed it today, and it is perfect! Thank you so much for taking customer satisfaction to a whole new level.

Fits perfect but obviously not the same quality as factory parts. Install is a piece of cake. This only comes in black and it seems all the replacement step cover only comes in black. I did find a tan color cover for $75 plus shipping. I opted for this one and painted it. If you’re looking for a tan colored cover, Rustoleum khaki sand camo paint matches almost perfect.

Cheaply made. The snaps easily break while installing. Had to use two screws after the snaps broke. Highly would not recommend.

I recently replaced the tailgate on my F150 2006 pickup. I was able to buy a new metal shell at a good price off another site -- came primered in black and so all I had to do was paint and topcoat it, which I did with spray cans, and then transfer or replace the hardware and emblems. Turns out, the old tailgate had already had substantial bodywork and the long plastic cap had been off and on a few times. In fact, it was pretty loose. I pried it off with a long screwdriver and found a lot of the underside built-in bodywork clips were so broken or badly bent, they wouldn't fit any more. I ordered this to replace it -- the description says it's an exact match for my truck. It went on easily -- all new clips underneath which were part of the molding process. I used a rubber mallet to tap it into place, starting in the middle, and only then did I realize the fitment problem. Sadly, the cap is 1/2-inch short on each end. By the time I discovered that, I realized that if I wanted to return it, I'd probably break a lot of clips getting it off. It doesn't look too bad on, and apart from being short, it's a good tight fit. How did they get the measurements so far off?? The product description says it's an exact match for my vehicle. The plastic they used is thinner than the OEM cap, but it is textured and looks right. Overall, it's does the job and looks good, but getting the length off by an inch is just wrong. A star off, even though I'm reasonably pleased with the final result.
