Gel Seat Cushion, Egg Seat Cushion Wheelchair Cushion with Non-Slip Cover, Breathable Chair Pads Honeycomb Design Absorbs Pressure Points for Car Office Chair Wheelchair (Violet)

Just over one year ago I purchased this cushion on 03-14-2022. I am 6’1” and 185 lbs. I, and my multiple CNAs, believe this is not an actual gel cushion. The inner honeycomb pad is some kind of flexible rubberized material. Each day I sit upwards of 16 hours on my disability scooter and this cushion. This cushion is more comfortable than my first cushions which were foam doughnut-hole cushions. All I do is sit on this honeycomb cushion. It has never been subjected to rough usage. However, within the first year the inner honeycomb pad has already had one of the “combs” tear apart and; separately, a hole has developed in the cover. I would only buy this cushion again if I couldn’t find an actual GEL cushion which I suspect would provide a more comfortable cushioning. If you are looking to cushion, say, an office chair, you might get two years out of it, assuming you don’t subject it to any rough foreplay, if you know what I mean. It only deserves three stars but I want many to read this.

It's a good cushion that's a lot more comfortable than my original desk chair. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it's too thick and "squishes down" to one side or another as well as slides around on my seat. I have to reposition every time I sit down. I actually think this would be a perfect cushion if there was a grippier side that would hold it in place and was about half as thick.

Bought this because I didn't want to get " Ass pain" as advertised on site. Tested this out at my security job where I sit for about 12+ hours and it worked . Wished it was a little more thicker , but overall it really is comfortable and if they ever make a 4 ince version then I'm positive you'll get 100% no "Ass pain " Lmfao !!!

These gel pads work good. They're breathable and cushiony. They don't slid around. My 1st one is about 10 years old or so and I sit on it every day. It never loses its memory.

I've only used the cushion for about a month, so I don't know how it will fare months from now. I use it on a chair for at least 6 hours a day, but I'm not very heavy. The cushion is indeed thick, much more so than others I've used. It will slide around on the chair. It is quite comfortable, and so far so no signs of wear.

My massage therapist recommended a foam egg crate but the reviews were not that great, so I read all reviews on similar items and decided this was the one to try. She wanted me to use it for when I was sitting to displace body from pressure points, as I am having problems sleeping (I am a side sleeper) because of arthritis in my hip I thought why not try it here. It has made a big difference. I can last longer on either side, so less tossing and turning and less pain. I use a fleece cover over it most of the time when sleeping. Wish I could get it bigger now. I place it diamond shaped in bed to cover more of the hip and leg.
