Excellent
Tried several other shoe horns (wooden and brass) and then found this one. I’ve used this item for several years to make it easier to my feet in thicker winter socks into shoes and boots. Love it and bought a second to keep by the back door. Good length, lightweight quality plastic with good production, great design and rounded shape drops into shoes/boots much easier than more squared off type. I like the fact it is very slightly flexible, seems to help and feels better than ridged metal or wood types. Only criticism is that the black top part of the handle, near where the hanging loop is, can come loose from the long red part when using. Easy, 2 minute fix to put a drop of super glue to bond the two pieces. Overall, this product design and feel is soo much better that the others I’ve tried, I am happy to put the two drops of glue. Would buy again.

Yes, a shoehorn it is! Nice one.
A shoehorn is a shoehorn, right? Yep. That's just about the size of it. So, why did I choose this one? First of all, it just looked cool from the picture. And you know what? When it arrived, it looks as cool as the picture. The color matched the picture as it showed on my screen. It would not be my first choice of colors, but you have to admit, the color is cool. So does it work like a shoehorn? Yes. I wanted one thin enough at the working end that it would maneuver easily, long enough to make it least effort from a sitting position. Basically, to get in, do the job easy and get out quickly.Since this one is plastic, if it were too thin at the spoon, it could break. This one is thin enough at the end of the spoon to slip in easy; almost as thin as the plated steel ones, except it gets thicker from the end up, to make it more rigid and sturdy. I really don't think this will break unless you use it for self defense. If it does, I will come back and revise this review. Also, the steel shoehorns will remain slick until the plating wears off and oxidation makes them hard to move. THIS shoehorn is polished and will probably remained polished as you use it. Slides right in, slides right out.Goes in easy, easy to slide heal in all the way, slips back out easy. Who can ask for more in a shoehorn? This one just plain gets the job done effortlessly if you are seated. If you are standing, it still is not difficult if you don't mind bending a little. If using while standing is important and you can't bend very well, a longer one might be better. At the time I ordered this, the title said it is 20" in length but that measurement includes the hanging loop. The handling length is about 16 1/4". The hanger is quite handy, giving you more standby options. You can even hang it on a doorknob if you want.I really appreciate these unsung heroes who take on the thankless job of making shoehorns and other utilitarian items we just don't appreciate at all until we need them. Thank you!So, how does this shoehorn measure up the all the others? One thing for sure, it IS a shoehorn and it does it's job very well. If you browsed for shoehorns and this one just caught your eye, buy it.

Great Shoehorn
I have no idea what people are doing with this thing other than using it how you are supposed to.1- There is a loop on it so you can hang it on a hook, not use the loop to swing it around...over your head. Nor should you attempt to do Parkour with this thing, it's for putting on shoes and that's it...it is not meant for any type of manual labor. There is no reason to use the loop for anything other than hanging it on aforementioned hook. Why do you want to tug on the loop at all, are you putting on knee-high boots? Jeez...2- Yea, there is an annoying bar code sticker directly behind where you would place your heel. This does not bother me in the slightest. It is made of almost the same material as the horn and causes no issues when putting on a shoe or sneaker. Why you feel the need to remove it or attempt to remove it therefore creating a plethora of issues with a now extremely sticky substance thereafter is beyond me. Leave it alone and it will leave you alone. It has been working just fine sitting where my heel does not go.Unless I attempt to enter a strong man contest and use this thing for the stone lift, my 5 stars will remain.

I don't know anything about shoe horns. But I'm here to tell you that this is a nice shoe horn.
This is literally the only shoe horn I've ever owned in my life, and in fact, it's only the second shoe horn I've ever used; the first being a complimentary one that I used during a hotel stay over 20 years ago.So now that you know about my credentials, I think this is a good product. It's plastic and rigid and works great for slipping my chukkas on and off during the break-in period. I like the loop which allows me to hang it from my closet door. The only thing I didn't like was that there was a bar code sticker attached to the end of the shoe horn. I judged that this sticker had to be removed immediately because it was unattractive and the stickiness would accumulate dirt from being used. This sticker wasn't easy to remove and required some goo-gone to do so. If I could improve one thing about this product, I would relocate this barcode to a tag looped around the hoop end, so that it would be easily removed by the end-user.But, that shouldn't detract from your interest in this product. It's very slick and works great.

Good but needs some glue
The immediate issue I had with mine was that the black plastic cover at the top would pop off while I was using the shoehorn, and the rubber loop was slowly tearing at the point where it connected to a peg on the red plastic piece underneath this black cover. All of this was easily solved with some Gorilla wood glue (there are better bonding agents but it's what I had lying around) applied liberally to the red piece where it connected / was covered by the black piece. I let it harden for a few days and have been using this shoehorn since with no problems. Definitely worth $9, but you may need to do a tiny bit extra to it like I did.

A belly lifesaver.
Nice simple product that does its job. Rubber eye ring makes it possible to hang it on the China cabinet door knob without worrying about scratching the knob.Darrow...for the Prosecution
