The snags are real!
I was optimistic that the snags wouldn't be an issue but oh my goodness they are! My baby was born a week ago so the blanket has been handled very gently and hardly used and it's covered in snags! So disappointed. It's such a nice soft blanket. I debated between this and the regular cotton dream blanket but decided to go with the bamboo and it was a huge mistake. I'm going to buy the cotton dream blanket because my other kids have them and they're incredible. I have no idea what to do with this mess of a bamboo blanket :( the snags shown in the picture are all over the blanket!

Material differs
I bought an aden and anais silky soft dream blanket from Marshalls for a very reasonable price. I just couldnt believe such a soft blanket exists. Then I got greedy and thought I'll get more for my baby due next month. I paid more than double the price I paid at Marshall's however the other two blankets I bought from Amazon aren't the same material as the Marshall's one. They are not that soft. They are sold under the same name but I dont know why they'd make it different from the soft ones which would be worth the price if it was the same material.

Fake - don’t buy
This item was a FAKE. I ordered it for a baby shower gift and it was nothing as pictured. It was thin and not soft at all. And definitely not in authentic packaging... Completely different than a previous blanket I’ve ordered from the authentic aden and anais website.

Softness depends on pattern
This is our second Silky Soft Dream blanket. The first was three years ago and it was the perfect and uniformly soft. We just purchased another for our second now that she's a toddler, but this particular pattern is only soft between the patterns. The blue feels like it was spray painted on and is rigid and course like sandpaper. (The weave pattern seems different than our other blanket, but may just be due to the many washes of our old one.) Perhaps the painted patterns will soften up after several washes, but for the premium price of the "Silky Soft Dream Blanket" it should come silky soft.

So cozy; the favorite blankie
Well, my toddler loves it... perhaps too much? He now refuses any other blankets, so I need to buy another one of these to have a backup on hand. Biggest problem is deciding on which pattern! It's a bit more weighted than I expected. Not a heavy winter blanket by any means, but I'm not sure I'd call it lightweight. Our toddler sleeps with a single muslin sheet and this on top (with short sleeve, long pants PJs in a 65/66 degree house) and still ends up sweaty. It's cozy and I don't think you'd be disappointed in it's weight. Some reviews mention easy snagging. I've not noticed that it snags any easier than I'd expect under normal use. And our toddlers normal use does include dragging it around the house behind him. Like muslin, it does get a bit wrinkly/bunched when washed, so if a crisp and flat look is preferred, this wouldn't be the best choice.

Softest, most wonderful blanket
I've bought Aden and Anais products for years for my own kids and as gifts for others and I've always been happy with the quality. So when my almost three year old could no longer cover his whole body with his favorite "blankey" his grandma made him, I got him this one, in Stargaze. He absolutely loves it, carries it around with him, treats it like he does his favorite stuffed animals and I can see why. It is so soft and cozy, the quality is fantastic. We haven't had any issues with snags and we wash it a lot and it's actually getting softer but not at all worn out. It came in an authentic Aden and Anais package, and it has proven itself worth the price as all their products have. I wish I had one for myself! He doesn't share. :)

Wonderful for any age
I bought a silky soft blanket for both of my kids as babies, and my sister wanted the same for her baby. They are wonderfully soft. The weight makes you feel cozy and safe. The material breathes well. They wash well. I wash ours in a large mesh bag, hang to dry, and then fluff in the dryer. The colors are beautiful. They are just great quality blankets. They’re not cheap, but they are definitely worth the money.I absolutely love these blankets. Our kids love them. Even our adult friends love them. I’ve been tempted to buy a couple as throw blankets.

Softest blanket ever!
I don't even understand the bad reviews! This blanket is the softest thing I've ever touched! It's buttery soft. It almost slips out of your hands because it's so silky soft. I was surprised but the weight of it. It's heavier than I anticipated. Definitely not a blanket for freezing winter nights but overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I hope it holds up well. So far it has had no bunching or snags from its first wash!

Beautiful blanket, super soft
Beautifully made blanket, very soft and comfortable. A tad too big as a blanket for an infant, could wait till child is about 2 years old. But in meantime its a great blanket to use as a lay on the floor or playmat for baby to lay on. Wish they had this in adult size so I could have one too.
