Head loose when arrived
For the price it’s a great hammer head was loose when arrived after using it for a day the head tightened up does have splits where the set the handle so don’t know how it will hold over time but swings and sinks nails like a dream wish the finish quality was a little better

Smooth face and flat as it should be. The handle is finished perfectly and hickory is best no bad vibrations here. And the weight is perfect for multiple uses.

Rings like a bell.
I have several Estwing hammers. This is the second one that I’ve gotten that rings like a school bell when you strike a 16 nail. Very annoying!
