Alvarado Street bread is, in my experience, the best bread you could possibly buy. The sprouted grains, the protein content, the consistency, the taste. Food For Life brand comes pretty close, but Alvarado Street is at the top, in my opinion. The local grocery store doesn't carry it, so I have to order it. But it's still worth the price.

Love the bread, but the price for two loaves is astronomical here for $16.00 a loaf! However, I did find a store who sells it for $2.49 a loaf! Stocked up!

I hate salt in bread. I'm very healthy and could eat as much salt as I want but I hate the taste of salt. It hides the taste of food. For some ridiculous reason many people like salty bread, I don't This bread taste fantastic. Buy it for the taste.

I bought this bread because i have high blood pressure and need to reduce sodium. 1 slice is only 10mg of sodium compared to 1 slice store bought 180mg. To my surprise I like this sprouted bread, and will be purchasing it again because it was good.

When I went on a low sodium diet I tried Alvarado street no salt bread- that was a few years ago and I have enjoyed it ever since! I thought I would have to give up bread - now I can enjoy my bread the healthy way!!!

I am following a reduced sodium diet, but even if I wasn't this bread is much better than most breads I can buy in the store

Crumbly like any good healthy bread it glues together with a little jam or jelly to be excellent company with whatever breakfast food I choose
