First off, WOW! The heavy duty material is AMAZING. I was super worried about what to order. Most floats pop within the first few swim experience. No double in my mind this is going to last a while. I also need to point out the double layering in the baby seat. Also, these floats come in different sizes. They aren’t a one size fits ‘most’. I plan to order more as my baby continues to grow. This float is amazing, my 6 month old LOVES it. Overall it’s a great product.Pros:-Easy to inflate, comes with a pump that’s simple to use.-I’m not very worried about my baby’s safety while using it and am comfortable enough to let go of him and let him float and kick.-It almost mimics the natural position a baby would normally be in to learn to swim.-It looks comfy!-My baby has a blast in it and has figured out after a few uses how to turn himself and kick towards me.Cons:-It’s a little hard to strap the baby into when you’re by yourself. I have to put it down on a lounge chair and then stick him into it to strap him in, but overall not a big deal. I’m just too nervous to do it in the pool but I bet you could.-The straps that harness over the shoulders seem a little flimsy and like they could break. But again, a minor flaw. The main harness also is inflated and seems very secure.-Baby’s arms don’t have the opportunity to learn to wade in it, because the float props them up. Therefore we have to spend some time out of the float to learn this separately.Overall, I’m a mom who is getting her baby comfortable in the water and wants to teach him to swim, but isn’t in a hurry. To fit the bill, I would DEFINITELY recommend this product over the other ones I’ve seen.

Really nice floaty, helps teach the correct swimming posture in water and allows child to get accustom to the feeling of being in the water, and frees up the adults hand in the water, has made my child comfortable in water so much that she wants to just dive in every time. She used it from 3 months and is now 1and 1/2 yrs. One downside is that as the child gets older and more active they will wriggle and if they lean back it will flip over and the child can drown, therefore must always use with close supervision! she almost flipped once when she leaned back trying to wriggle out of it and as she is older I told her not to lean back, so she has stopped doing that for now, plus the whole thing gave her a bit of a scare, but she is a toddler so quite unpredictable, so use with supervision!!!

I'm a huge fan of this for my baby (11 months). You can put them in sitting, or you can flip them on their belly. I love it because it puts him in a proper swimming position when on his belly (not upright in the water which is dangerous as that's considered the "drowning position"). The 5-point harness is great too. I feel comfortable pushing him around the pool when he's sitting in it, and he likes to practice kicking and splashing when he's in it on his belly. We haven't tried the 3rd position where they can sit and play on it (he's not quite there), but I'm excited as this will grow with him and his skills. I also really love the little sun shade. It works great, and it flips depending on their positioning. So worth the money for what it offers.

This is very sturdy. Baby would walk around in the pool and ocean with it on and it stood up well to all the scraping and even barnacles. Buy the sunshade I would suggest. Was mad I didn't
