I'm using this 'mic-puck' for a different reason than what is custom. I play online games and use VOIP to communicate with my teammates. Overtime, my ears begin to hurt, because I wear glasses. So, I wanted to get something small and unobtrusive. I didn't want to get a big studio mic, like some other Twitch streamers, but something that could easily fit on my desk.This product is it!Pros:1. Plug and Play at it's finest. No customization needed and my Win10 box recognized it immediately.2. No feedback of audio. My mic, as you can see in my pics, is very close to my speakers. With that being said, there is NO feedback. That was a concern for me, but this product surpassed my expectations.3. Small. This puck is so small and light. It fits perfectly on my desk right in front of my keyboard. I don't have to YELL to have people hear me and in some games, I have to whisper or others will hear me. My colleagues can hear me just fine.4. Long cable. My desk is pretty big and the mic connects two shelves down. No problems here! Plenty of slack.Cons:1. None noted, but I will update my review if I encounter any.

Disclaimer: I was offered this product in return for an honest review.When I was initially approached to review this product, I was a little bit skeptical. My experience with USB microphones, especially in conference settings, have not been great, so I did not expect much.The microphone is small, surprisingly heavy and it feels very solid. It comes with a USB connection cord as well as setup instructions and a troubleshooting guide.Set up could not be any simpler. Turn on your device, plug in the microphone via the USB port, wait for the operating system to finish detecting the microphone and you're ready to go.On a second laptop I had to use the troubleshooting guide in order to have the operating system accept the microphone as an input device. Instructions are clear, precise and included screenshots.It is of course hard for me to judge the sound quality of my voice, however according to feedback from others in the meetings, it was great, much better than the built-in microphone in the laptop. No apparent hissing or muffled sound. Microphone did not cut out in the middle of a sentence or a pause.The light up LED ring is a nice touch as it very clearly indicates to you whether you are live or have muted the microphone.Overall I'm very happy I was asked to review this product, I certainly would have been happy had I bought it.

It was easy to use, and my colleagues could hear me clearly. It doesn't take up much storage space. I highly recommend this microphone.

Given the price, it’s pretty decent. The audio quality is good, and having a dedicated, convenient mute button is useful. If you want a basic, “good enough” USB mic, this is the ticket.

I was having internal microphone issues with my laptop, so I found this external microphone. I thought my problems were solved, but then I started to have issues with this microphone. My computer factor microphone would have me sound as if I were under water, but with this microphone sometimes it just mutes me on. I will be in the middle of speaking and have not touched it to mute myself nor changed any settings on the microphone or my computer and people can see me speaking but can’t hear me all of a sudden. I have to, sometimes several times, throughout a call swap back and forth from my old mic to this one in order to restore the sound on this mic and then it could go out again a few minutes later. This problem didn’t show up until later. If it wasn’t too late to return it, I would send it back for a refund. Does not function properly 100% of the time, but when it does work, it works well. I like the size and portability and one click feature to turn on and off.

As I have been using Zoom a lot lately I was looking for a microphone that would allow me to quickly mute once a question was thrown my way. I also was looking for a something to improve the sound quality as some of my customers were complaining that they could not hear me that well.This microphone fits the bill. It has the look of an Amazon echo with the same LED ring but weighs about twice as much which is a good thing. The LED ring is also a major plus as when the ring is lit is tells you the microphone is active and a quick touch of the mute button and the LED ring is off so no unwanted comments will get out. I have a windows based computer so plugging in the microphone to the USB port the computer quickly found the mic and set it up. I did have to set it up in Zoom though but took seconds. Well worth the price but keep in mind there is no speaker.

The device e is hefty so you know the quality is good. The microphone is very sensitive and can pick up the entire room. It's simple and only needs a a usb cable to show up as a microphone. Used in windows and Mac. I like to use it with my MacBook pro while it's closed on a stand for phone calls. The dedicated mute button with related led is a nice touch.

The media could not be loaded. I liked this microphone because of the sound quality and the value for money. I’ve recorded an ads by my phone. The sound quality isn’t great in the video because that passed my laptop speaker, my cell phone mic &speaker and another phone mic. But the sound quality of this speaker itself is very clear.I haven’t experienced any problems for a week and people said it sounds great.Besides, the installation is so simple.
