Beautiful and perfectly made!

this is absolutely gorgeous. just want it for decor reasons. love copper. it looks great on my stove top.

I was hesitant to order this tea pot as some reviews cautioned that the handle can melt when lowered and that it can burn since the pot bottom diameter is smaller than the burner. I was also concerned that it is a bit smaller than the regular size tea pot. But now I had it for about a month and absolutely love it. The handle stays up and is not a problem, it does get a bit hot, but I make sure not to touch outside the handle. The smaller size is also making me use it more frequently, which was another reason why I waited to post the review. I wanted to make sure that it will not discolor or burn as some reviews stated. None of that happened so far after a month of daily frequent use. Lovely tea pot!

Very nice tea kettle. Item was given as a gift and the recipient was very happy to receive it. She has stated that is a very nice addition to her kitchen and has been a joy to use as the weather has turned wintry. She also loves the sturdiness of the tea kettle and luster of the copper.

Absolutely beautiful copper teapot!!!!!

I LOVE THIS!!! It looks exactly as pictured. I got the polished copper and wont worry if it tarnishes, it will add character. Its heavier then I expected and I didnt realize the handle is brass and wood! This is great because you can pick it up directly after boiling and no burns! I also like the spouts design. It pours where you expect and stops pouring the second you lift up. The spout is small so it pours a bit slowly. Also, I only got this kettle yesterday so I cant speak to longevity, however it is very well constructed so I expect it to last a very long time. I really love my beautiful new Turkish Copper Kettle!!! Should have got this along time ago!!!

The first kettle I received was pretty badly dented so I returned it and ask for a replacement. Second kettle came, also dented, but not terribly. Didn't think it was worth returning again. I noticed the first time I used it that it was spotting strangely, just thought it might be the natural patina starting. But it got worse. A few days later, I set it on the stove to heat and got busy. I forgot it was heating. It over heated and all the "copper" burned off. This product isn't even copper plated, it's copper "painted". I am furious! $85 for what looks like brass painted copper. So disappointed! Certainly not worth the money, in spite of their claim.

This is SOOOOO PRETTY in person! I am absolutely in love with it! This arrived so well packaged I was actually afraid I was going to damage it trying to open it, luckily I didn't. The lid fits perfectly and the handle is moveable but nice and stiff so it won't flop over when upright. A little note came in the inside of the teapot explaining about the patina issue, and said that you can use copper cleaning wipes available on Amazon to clean it if you don't like the discoloration. I'll have to order some because I love the shine and color of copper, but I don't think this will look bad with a bit of discoloration on the bottom portion, might give it some more character. Overall I am SO happy I purchased this! I was hesitant because of the gold spout but it looks amazing in person.
