Spend the extra couple bucks over the "Amazon's Choice". After doing some research and comparing specs and reviews of the other top recommends on Amazon, I went with the Rocket Straps heavy duty cargo net. This net definitely has a heavier gauge cord and a solid carabiner when compared to the competition. I recently used it to make sure nothing was lost out of the truck bed on a camping trip. For anyone new to cargo nets, 4x6 is a good size for a short bed pickup (long bed too). If you are getting this to 8x12, you are doing some serious stretching. It really brought to my attention that I do not have enough tie down loops in the back of my truck. Pros: - Heavy duty cord - Tight weave so nothing slips through - Heavy duty carabiners (Lots of the competitors come with cheap ones that snap easily. These are solid.) - Plenty of carabiners to get the job done - Comes with a small motorcycle net. I have no use for it, but its cute, and a nice thought. - Comes with a nylon storage sack. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done, and keeps the net and carabiners contained when not in use. Cons: - The one negative I found is that the carabiners have some sharp points where the latch that can catch on the net as you attach them. Not a deal breaker, but I would be disappointed in myself if i snagged the cord and ripped open the sheath. I got out the Dremel tool and hit those corners a little to be safe. Pics: - Size comparison of the Rocket Straps bag next to some other truck/emergency stuff I keep in there. - Size and close up of a carabiner - An attempt to get the camera to focus on an example of the pointy carabiner corners I Dremel'd off of them. Other: I don't have daily need of a cargo net, so it will be a while before I have context of long-term durability. But, I will update the review if anything changes.

Recently bought a 2018 Toyota Tundra and needed a cargo net to keep our gear secure on the first camping trip of the season. My previous truck had a tonneau cover, so we never had to worry about things possibly flying out on the freeway. After looking around and comparing some similar options, I settled on this cargo net from Rocket Straps and couldn’t be happier. The net is heavy-duty and the webbing is tight enough to hold almost anything down in the bed of my truck. We traveled a couple hundred miles on our trip, much of which was at freeway speeds. There were also lots of windy/bumpy roads near the lake and nothing budged in the bed, so we were very pleased. For reference, my truck has a CrewMax cab and the bed is only about 5.5ft in length. This net covered the whole bed front-to-back and side-to-side easily, with plenty of stretch. Our gear was only slightly above the bed rails, but I am confident that we could pile things much higher and the cargo net would stretch to accommodate and keep things in place. I was also impressed by the heavy weight of the cargo net itself, it just feels durable and made to last. The included carabiner clips are nice and heavy-duty, not cheap and the carrying bag is nice as well. The bonus small net was a cool addition too, thinking about using that on our kayak to hold down fishing gear, tackle, etc. For the price, this is a solid product and a great purchase. I would happily recommend it to others.

Great quality net. Well made and super dense...actually has some weight to it. I like the smaller mesh....less chance ov something slipping thru. Also great customer service. I now have 2 nets...the first one began to break at random places along the net grid. I emailed their customer service and after speaking with them I learned that I was over stretching the net. They sent me a replacement free of charge even though it technically was my improper use that caused the damage.

The net itself is great. We have a Toyota Tacoma long bed and we've used over all types of loads (small to 5 feet tall loads). The net stretches beautifully and easily. The only issue is that the carabiners are too small to go into the track ties/hook receivers that came on our truck, so we had to purchase clips. I find the clips much easier to use, but the key to using clips is that you need to take them off the net before packing the net back into the bag. Otherwise, the hooks get all tangled around the net making your next use of the net very frustrating. We just remove the hooks and place them in a zip lock bag each time, so it's easy and and nearly effortless. The storage bag is nice and really easy to stuff the net back into each time. Would buy again. It has saved us tons of time (no more cinch straps). Should have bought it years ago!
