Solomon's Seal herb is amazing for replacing synovial fluid in your body & lubricating all of your joints!!! I learned about it from a famous herbalist named Jim McDonald who recommended it for back pain when there is a lack of lubrication in your spine. He also said that it works for TMJ & all joints in your body. I made a tincture (alcohol based) out of this tea, and now that the tincture has reached it's full potency I can finally review this herb from this supplier. I can say that for me it works wonders for my chronic back pain and my TMJ!! After using it for about 3 weeks I decided to chew a piece of gum (haven't in many many years due to TMJ). I couldn't believe that I could chew it with no pain and no jaw cracking at all. I then decided, just to test it out, to chew up some gummy bears that are not the super soft kind. Again, no pain or cracking. Now, I'm not planning on doing these things regularly because, of course, I still have TMJ...just with no symptoms now. So no more accidental pain in my jaw. YAY!!! As for my back pain, I'm just less stiff than I used to be since I started using this herb. My spine seems to be more flexible from top to bottom. I use this with pain-killing (aka: anti-spasmodic & anti-inflammatory) herbs and am almost completely pain-free after suffering with chronic pain for 6 years, due to a herniated disk. One last area that I have noticed improvement is in the joint of both of my big toes (the joint where they connect to my feet). I've haven't been able to wear heals for more than a few minutes without my big toes REALLY hurting. They even painfully crack at that joint every time I curl my toes under really hard. This has been going on for at least 10 years. Since I started using Solomon's Seal tincture (made from this supplier's Solomon's Seal), not only have my big toes stopped cracking but I've worn heals a few times with no pain at all. Regarding the taste: it is mild and slightly sweet. This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I'm sure if you got the same herb from a well known supplier like Mountain Rose Herbs, Starwest Botanicals, or Frontier it would work just as well. Thank you Nature Tea!!! I'm very impressed with your herb quality & freshness!! UPDATE: Regarding my results using this Solomon's Seal tincture (that I made), I use 5-25 drops 1-3 times daily...as needed. I went for a month without using my Solomon's Seal and my TMJ came back mildly (no pain, just cracking)...so I started using it again periodically for that. I only use it for my back stiffness when it is occurring. Using Solomon's Seal tincture daily for 1.5 months seems to have really restored most of my joint and stiffness problems for extended periods of time. I'm sure it would not hurt to use it daily & long term, as it has no harmful side effects.

Use for many things

This stuff works. I take it for nerve damage from a car accident that damaged the Right brachial plexus. My herbalist recommended this, stating that it was effective for upper body spinal serve damage. It left me completely debilitated, affecting my entire right side. I certainly couldn't type a review like this. I was almost at the point of having the nerve cut because the pain was so severe (actually sitting in the surgery center to have the surgery done, when I got up and walked out; the worst outcome was that I would essentially loose the use of my right arm--what kind of benefit is that!) But This was recommended and now I function well, no need for prescription pain medication, that was barely working anyway. I make a tea out of it, 1-2 flakes each day 4-5 days a week. You will need to find your own level of effectiveness. But what I can say, is that this is viable effective product at a great price. Worldwide it is difficult to find this, and the root is what is used, so the plant has to die when harvesting. Usually I have found cut and sifted which comes in little 1/2 pea or smaller size, so I had to adjust to the different size and shape. But this works. (My husband has diabetic nerve pain in his feet--this DOES NOT work for this type of pain. It is historically used for upper body/neck pain.

Hi, I take this to “seal” off from illness or people’s energy. It’s good! Tastes sweet and gives you that internal “ahhh” feeling. Not scientific, just my experience. Will buy again!

The roots strangely white (bleached?) and sliced without skin. I am used to the natural dark roots. While boiling, smells like Solomon Seal, but the color and taste isn’t. Made me suspicious of the wualityso won’t buy this again.
