Good Night Washington State (Good Night Our World)

First of all there was no typo on the first page of the book we bought on Amazon(see image). Maybe the publisher has corrected the mistake? We really like the book. It's a bit Seattle centric, but not really; I think they do a good job of capturing a lot of different aspects of the state. The pictures are engaging and fun, too! Here is a list of some of the different places that are mentioned:- Olympic mountains- Hoh rainforest- Space needle- ferry boat on Puget sound- San Juan islands- Mt St. Helens- Seafair hydroplane races- Snoqualmie falls- Mt. Rainer- Washington state history museum in Tacoma- riverfront park in Spokane- apple orchards- steelhead fishermen on the Columbia river- Lake Roosevelt- Cascade mountainsIt's really fun to read aloud to our 6 month old granddaughter, and the cadence is very good. It basically goes through a day, from sunup to sundown, with snapshots of what's going on in different places. It will continue to be fun as she gets older and we can talk more about the venues and activities.

Fun for the kids to see places we have been and places we would like to go. A little hometown pride and the opportunity to pick the next adventure. Buy the book.

Very fun book, many of the pages features more outdoorsy activities from WA state (Hoh rainforest, Mt Rainier, St Helens, Casacades, etc)

Great addition to the collection. He love “good night Vancouver”. So when I saw this I had to get it seeing we live in Washington State. We read to him almost nightly.

We purchased this book after a vacation to Washington. It is a nice kids book to read together to help remember some of the places we visited while there.

This is a very cute book. I love the illustrations and how the book goes through a day in the life of Washington.I've never seen a typo in a children's book until now. There is one on the first page: "Are we ready we share a wonderful day"? Bizarre.Besides that, it is a pretty cute book.

Great teaching for little ones..

I bought it because the description listed Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and I wanted it as a souvenir for my niece. Woodland Park Zoo is mentioned, not Point Defiance so I was disappointed.
