Works well when used properly
I've been using Remington microscreen shavers for around 40 years. They've always functioned well for me and lasted about 7-10 years before needing replacement. I bought the PF7320 to replace my F3800 whose battery would no longer hold a charge. Based on my experience with these devices, I think many of the negative reviews here appear to be due to misuse. First, you must not press too hard. Second, you must use it at least once a day, since it only works well on short hairs. This is true of all microscreen designs, since long whiskers will "lay down" instead of poking through the holes in the screen. Third, your skin and whiskers should be dry - buying a "wet or dry" model for use in the shower is not a good use case.I have sensitive skin that acts up if I do the exact same thing for too long, so I use a 5-blade handheld razor with shaving gel once a week and then use the electric for daily shaves in between. This combination gets good performance for me and avoids my skin acting up.All my prior Remington shavers had two screens with a single cutter that vibrated back and forth under the screen. This new model still has two screens, but it now has two independent cutters under the screen that move in opposite directions from each other. This reciprocating motion causes MUCH less vibration than before, and is quieter. This new design feature is a very nice upgrade.Remington has higher priced models that are wet and dry, and also have additional cutters between the two screens, but I'm happy with just the two screens and the pop-up trimmer for occasional use on my ears and neck.

Doesn’t work often
This product will power down and then right back on for no reason, in the middle of a shave. It’s fully charged but motor just kicks on and off. Difficult to shave.

Definitely improved.
It seems there's NO WAY Remington will ever make a shaver as good as the old "triple foil". Those were maybe the best electric razors ever made. In recent years I haven't found anything close to that quality and durability. Isn't it ironic that such an iconic brand has made their most important shaving product WORSE over the years?I was using the one before this, the 7300(?), and found it "ok". At least it worked good enough, but frankly a few others I've had in the last 10yrs didn't do any better even though they were more expensive than the 7300. My last one wouldn't hold a charge anymore, and instead of the time and effort to get parts and repair it (which they often stop manufacturing the parts), I found this newer version and the price is very good. This works as good or maybe even a little better than the last model, and it really does sound a bit quieter too with a slightly muted vibration. I'm surprised they actually improved something for a change, and anyone that likes the recent Remington models (like the 7300) will like this one better, I'm sure. I like the added addition of the USB charging option, but I still prefer to use the charging adaptor from my 7300's. That actually fits this razor too.~JSV

What a little dynamite electric razor
No reason to spend $300-500 on a Braun. This razor does the job on my thick, wire like beard. The key is, wash your face thoroughly before hand, let your face dry, then go slow & this razor will give you a shave as smooth as silk. Why I have been ripping up my face for 40 years with a blade razor I'll never know. Never again. Now I love shaving everyday. I used to only shave every 3 or 4 days with a blade because of so much irritation. If this wears out in a year, I'll buy another one cause it's still way cheaper than a years worth of blade razors, they have gotten crazy sky high in price.

Lasted 2 years. (Update!)
This razor worked moderately well with light use for about two years until it suddenly died and will not turn on. I have pretty thin facial hair, really only needing to use this razor on my chin and upper lip about once a week. I doubt it would hold up to those with really thick or bushy hair.Remington's product manual states this razor has a 3 year warranty, so I'm currently inquiring them about a repair/replacement. If they respond and actually replace it, I'd be willing to amend this review in a slightly more positive light. However, if you're looking for a dependable razor that will outlive it's own product warranty, I would suggest looking elsewhere.UPDATE:I've amended the score to include the fact that Remington honored the warranty. After I provided the purchase info they've sent a new one and it has worked just fine. Remington did include the fact that the warranty does NOT extend to this new, replaced razor. I'm not super surprised, it's a cheap razor. But it also doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the longevity of this product. Next time around I think I'll splurge for something a bit more durable.
