Great swim fins!
Comfortable with pool socks, I can use them for hours without discomfort which I suffered with other brands. I have a high instep so fit is very important. Well designed and streamlined.

Best choice for most adult fitness swimmers who are not naturally incllined to flex too much; Save ur bones!
These fins are a very wise choice and have saved my ankles, knees, and back -- and preserved my ability to do something I love. Due to their flotation, light weight, and relative level of effect, compared to the super-short, heavier variety breast-strokers often prefer when forced to practice other kicks, they let me keep up doing something I love without too much strain but with enough extra strength to build more muscle and give me the speed to do longer series of kick drills. I was a professional swim coach for 20 years and a life-long swimmer. Started having back issues and my chiropractor banned fins with swimming, told me to water walk or something, which if what you want is pyramids and butterfly and isolation drills for an hour twice a week...i wanted to explain swimming to him but held my tongue. Anyway, I guy I'd coached had just found these due not being able to wear the heavy long ones on a sprained ankle. I borrowed them and realized they were just the balance. I've personally had his old pair in my car for two years straight and never had shrinkage or a break. One word of advice: With fins, it is always better to go a bit big. This is not like a wet suit. You do not want it really tight. With kids, you can even get a size too big and have them wear socks until they grow into them. As for kids on teams using these, I'm not as sure. Breaststrokers seem to do best with the super-short, square variety to practice flutter and dolphin kick. The traditional, bi-color, heavier, longer fins are best for learning dolphin, developing flutter endurance. But as soon as a kid is pretty good, switching to these might prevent some level of inflexibility caused by hyper-extension and protect their bones. Some can be disappointed in these because they are not as fast, but if you are truly kicking correctly, they give you just the boost you need, safely. If the buoyancy throws u off, i'd recommend swimming lessons. Your feet are supposed to be that high for everything but breast stroke, but it's not easy learning how to do this.

Comfort has declined.
I have been a lap and/or open water swimmer pretty much my entire life. I have owned 3 pairs of these over the years. They are incredible. In a league of their own. Soft, supple, forgiving, extremely comfortable and powerful. HOWEVER, and this is a big however, they have recently changed the formula of the plastic - and they are much, much stiffer than the older versions. And while the trade off is probably longevity, there is a huge cost in comfort. Hoping they will break in soon, but for now I’ve got blisters. And that’s a shame.

Best fins ever, but if possible, try on different fin sizes to find the right fit.
I have arthritis in my lower back and have a difficulty swimming because of my inability to use my legs. I have tried several other types of fins and my back hurts more when I'm using them than when I swim without fins. However, the Aqua Sphere fins were amazing. What sets them apart is that they float. Because of their buoyancy, they keep my legs afloat, even if I don't kick my legs. It's almost like swimming with a pull buoy, which also takes the load off my back. I am still making adjustments to my stroke and if I do an easy flutter kick it doesn't hurt my back. So my use of the fins is still a work in progress, but all my results are, so far, positive. Also, other fins that I have used require that I wear booties with the fins to prevent abrasions to my insoles. You don't need booties for these fins. One thing that I recommend is be careful about the selection of your fin size. According to the size chart, if you wear a size 10-11 shoe size, which I do, the LARGE size is recommended. However, before purchasing my Aqua Fins, a friend allowed me to use his X-LARGE fins. They were a snug fit and they felt like the correct size. I can't imagine that the LARGE would have fit correctly and probably would have been way too tight. My feet are average and are not extra wide, so if possible, borrow a pair of Aqua Fins of the recommended size and a size larger to see how they fit before purchasing. You can return them if the ones you got weren't the right size, but why go through the extra hassle?

The sizing has changed recently and now it is too large
This was my third purchase for the fins. I am a women's size 9 with shoes. I had purchased size Small in the fins all times in the past and they worked great the first two times. Now with this last purchase they are too large. I didn't try them out until after over 30 days since purchasing the fins and therefore the problems I encountered were too late to return them. To just be certain, I ordered a second pair of smalls just to see if this was a defective pair and that was not the case. The other order was also too large. What happened is that the back of the fins rubbed against my heels and I have had blisters that lasted over a month before healing (just from one visit to the pool using the fins). I am so disappointed as I loved these fins prior to this. I unfortunately have a pair that is useless to me now and am wondering if I should try a size smaller (if they even have a size smaller) at this point. I feel I shouldn't have to order a size smaller and pay twice for a product where I was told that small is the correct size (based on their sizing instrutions) and for a product I have used for years that used to work with this size.

Amazing fins!
When I started swimming again I wanted to have a decent pair of fins and found these. And I'm glad I did! The fins are easy to put on and take off. The material feels nice against my feet, it reminds me of the material Crocs shoes are made of.I really like the fact that the fins are compact in size and very light so they fit in my bag with no problems. (The size S fins weigh just 93 g/fin, the lenght is approx. 38 cm). Despite of the size and weight the fins work perfectly and I swim so much better and faster with them. (My swimming technique is so rusty after many years break but these fins really help me to swim better).About the sizing: I use S with size 6 and the fins fit me perfectly.Overall, I'm really pleased with these fins. Highly recommended!

I bought these after my daughters' new swim coach recommended them when she joined a local squad for the first time. My initial reaction was "weird". At first our oldest daughter (10) was envious of her sister's new pink Maru fins as they were "what everyone else has" and she didn't want to "look like a seal" (read = be different). But after trying both the Maru fins and the Aqua Sphere fins in the water, she was convinced. Her best friend now also has a pair so they are going to set a trend in their squad. Lighter = faster and they're as comfortable as they can be given what they are! They're a bit like Crocs in feel/weight. Look like a seal or look like a duck with the other fins? Seals are better known for swimming! :-)

Just love these flippers
Just love these flippers . My husband and I both have a pair . Do make sure they have a snug fit . This needs a bit of getting used to but really helps you to be propelled through the water . Love them ! The material is also really light and comfortable to wear unlike other flippers I have tried . We have had lots of positive comments too from other interested swimmers . I have a rubbish leg kick and these flippers have really helped build up my leg strength and kick!!! I would definitely recommend buying a pair . Currently Amazon is also the cheapest place to buy them !!

Awesome fins! Best I've ever had.
Oh wow, best fins I've ever worn.I've been through many a fun in my time and these are by far the best.I have ankle injuries so I needed a lightweight fin that wouldn't be to hard on my ankles... These are perfect! And they are the fastest fins I've ever worn too. The way the fins are shaped helps you kick more realisticly for when you take them off too, so you're developing your kicking technique as well as swimming super fast!

Natty design - but didn't feel good in the water.
Clever design, may work wonders for some swimmers, but really didn't suit my style of kick. It actually made progress through the water pretty uncomfortable with no real power available from my kick. Felt like all turbulence and no real propulsion.I much prefer the more conventional fin designs from Cressi / Finis / Speedo, which all do aid delivery of a powerful thigh & calf workout!
