Quick and easy to install. Fixed my Triton T80 Easifit shower

Worked a treat. Cheap fix for the shower and easy fitted.

If your Triton shows “low pressure” and you’ve already cleared the filter (if present) this item will fix things. I found it very simple (basically a bit of wiggling) to remove the old one and the new one just slid straight on.

Bought this to repair our Triton T80xr. Its a bit of a fiddle to fit on this particular shower because part of the chassis is in the way. You have to disconnect the water and electric and take it off the wall to make it easier to dismantle almost completely before you can get the solenoid out. There are YouTube videos that help. Once you access the solenoid its really easy to swap for the new one. This solenoid was a perfect direct replacement and once all reassembled and reinstalled the shower works perfectly again.

Fixed shower

Super fast delivery ( although not to my house but it was re delivered by a neighbour). Very easy to fit. Turn power off and water ( incase the valve centre pops out) Take a photo so you can see where all the wiring goes. Take off the lugs, lever off gently with 2 screwdrivers and push the new one back on and push the lugs back on. Cheap easy fix for me as access to solenoid was straight in front of me ( Triton T80 easy fit)

I wasn't sure if this was definitely the issue with my shower but after looking at possible faults & replacing this plug, due to shower randomly going off midway, I decided to try it. It was cheap to buy and after having it fitted has solved my shower problem.

Installed it in a Triton T90SR several months ago. It has worked fine, although soon after I installed it, several times the shower would not completely turn off. (Had to turn it on and off again). This problem appears to have gone away by itself. This was a DIY job though so it could have been something I did wrong.
