I have been looking for a good 1/12 scale clone trooper for quite some time. I collect Black series, but all the plain Clone trooper black series had mediocre ratings, and ridiculously high prices. Yuck. So I decided to try out Bandai Hobby! I have never owned a Bandai Hobby figure, but the pictures, reviews, and prices seems good enough, so what the heck? And after seeing this figure, this is my first but definitely not the last Bandai figure I'll own. So unlike Black Series, these figures come in pieces and you have to assemble it. Now, I am a LEGO person, so I knew this wouldn't bother me. But I understand that some people don't like that, and prefer just getting the figure right then and there. And I understand. Building these figures are a bit of a hassle, and you have to be very careful. You'll need tweezers, but the instructions will tell you if they are parts that will break if you use tweezers. The instructions are well printed and easy to follow. You have to push in the pieces together real hard, or else your figure will end up flawed. you don't want you figure constantly falling apart. So after you build it, you get this glorious clone trooper figure. It includes a phase 1 and phase 2 head which are interchangeable, just don't switch them too much that the neck will break. It also has sniper visors which can be attached to the Phase 2 head, but it is a bit of a hassle to. It also includes relaxed hands, clenched fists, and gun holding hands. This makes posing a lot more interesting. it's guns include a DC-15 rifle and a DC-15A blaster carbine. I know, I'm a Star Wars nerd. The joints that can bend bend with ease, much easier than with a Black Series. Also there is more articulation in a Bandai Hobby than in a Black Series. Also, a Bandai Hobby figure is a bit taller than the average black series, but not that it'll bother anyone, and Clone troopers are naturally taller than average. The detailing is so much cleaner and more intricate then a Black Series, this was definitely worth the 40 minutes spent building it. I is even fun building it, and it it a good exercise for your brain and hands. So yeah, great figure, great price, great shipping, 100% recommended. And you can even customize your figure, adding paint apps of your own, even custom pouches, pauldrons, visors, etc. So if your looking for a good clone trooper figure, look no further!

I bought this figure with some slight concerns on the quality and durability of it. I am happy to say that this figure was a blast to make. The packaging was a little beat up, but that does not bother me as long as the package inside was fine (it was). It was very easy to build and the clone itself was very posable. It does feel a little fragile, but it is overall pretty sturdy. It is very customizable, with all the armor pieces being somewhat easy to disassemble for painting. It is very shiny all by itself, but some washes and a matte white primer will do the trick. It comes with a stand, 3 different types of hand poses (open hand, finger on the trigger, and a fist) it also comes with one dc-15s blaster carbine, a dc-15a blaster rifle, and an interchangeable phase 1 helmet. This clone is well worth the money and I had a lot of fun with this figure.

A great build overall. The details are sharp and the plastic has a nice sheen to it. Even without applying stickers (or water slide decals if you prefer) it looks great! I'm not the most experienced when it comes to the Bandai trooper model kits but it was genuinely fun to see all come together. Plus the fact that it comes with both the Phase 1 and 2 helmets is pretty great. The only real negative I can think of is how a fair amount the articulation is hindered by the kit's attention to maintaining accuracy to its movie counterparts. I can see how it could be a deal breaker for someone who likes to pose their figures often. But as for me, I prefer to find one pose that works and stick with it.

If you’re into this stuff! It was definitely worth the money and easy to assemble. The size was medium small but definitely fun to do!

This model kit has a great look, is easy to assemble, and is a perfect addition to anyone's Star Wars collection... but, if you're like me and you do toy photography and want to pose this model and take pictures, you might be in for a frustrating time. The joints are not very strong in the sense that they don't stay in most positions and they occasionally detatch themselves and need to be reassembled. Other than that, it's a great buy.

I have a keen feeling that give it a couple years and these things will be going for like $100 a piece. They are the DEFINITIVE Clone Trooper model kit and are well worth the purchase.

This was a great Bandai kit. I have had almost no trouble with these kits in the past, except for the starfighters. This particular model has the issue that the pieces don't come together was I liked, so if the angle is just right, you see light or space in the chest, helmet, arms, etc. I fixed this issue by using a little spackle between the cracks, and it look perfect! This is one for a more experienced modeler, I feel.

Auch wenn ich nach Meinung vieler wirklich etwas zu alt für die Star Wars Saga wäre und überdies die Clone Wars nur etwas "für Kinder" sind, als bekennender Geek ist das einfach ein Muss, wie alle Figuren von Bandai einfach großartig detailliert, wahlweise zu bestücken und mit einem Mini-Aufwand an zusätzlicher Bemalung ein echter Hingucker. Macht einfach Spaß!

Une figurine bandai articulée et à assembler, de très bonne qualité à un prix raisonnable. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Altro ottimo kit Bandai dedicato al mondo di Star Wars, la componentistica è di buona fattura con decal ad acqua ed adesive. Semplice da montare, richiede un po' di attenzione durante i tagli dato che la plastica è lucida, permette una grande varietà di pose con le armi in dotazione e di ricreare i Clone Trooper della phase I e II grazie alle due teste intercambiabili. Consigliato a tutti gli amanti della saga.
