Works as advertised
They’re definitely being optimistic with their claims in terms of wattage but there is TRUTH in their fast charging. I have an IPhone 16, bought one of these to wire up to a work truck and before I knew it my phone was fully charged in a matter of about an hour on the USB c.Now for the standard usb port I can’t vouch for its speed but the USB definitely delivers. Good quality product, comes with decent instructions and is still working today a year later

Fits and works really well.
I replaced the auxiliary power socket with this one. Install is in dash and pulling the panel off was really easy. Wring it up is simple. I cut the spades off and inserted the wires into the factory harness then taped them. The charger fits into the hole the factory plug was in just fine. The only catch is this plug uses a nut that has big knurls on it and when you tighten it down to install it the knurls hit on the arm that clips into the dashboard. Fortunately it still gets more than tight enough that it doesn't feel loose. Nice fit that looks like a factory install.Charged my phone and a battery operated tire inflator with it. Worked well. It does the turbo charge on my cell phone so it was a quick charge. I like it. I don't mind the blue LED light since the socket has a cover and I leave it closed unless I'm charging. It's not annoying at night from what I see.

60W laptop charging direct from battery, no inverter. But kill the blue lights!
To me the blue light on the faceplate is an eyesore and waste of power. Another reviewer (Brandon L. Craven, "Bright as the Sun") posted that the four blue LEDS can be easily removed from the board to kill the light, and this is indeed true. They're quite delicate and can literally be 'scraped off' with a utility knife or similar implement; no desoldering or heat required. Be careful of the adjacent components. I can confirm the product works fine with the LEDs simply obliterated in this way. It'd be nice if this destructive modification weren't required though. Maybe a future version could have a jumper that can be pulled out, or a solder tab that can be cut, to disable the light for those who don't want it.Aside from that, these perform as expected on a 24V RV house system. As others have mentioned, they're a bit large and deep so can be tricky to actually fit, but if you have the space these are the Real Deal for running a MacBook Pro direct from house battery via a USB-C to USB-C cable at 60W. No inverter required. Perfect for long boondocks. My Lenovo won't boot with the power cable connected to this, since it checks for a suitably-large power adapter and this doesn't pass. But it WILL charge the laptop while turned off. Until we start seeing devices that can actual make use of the higher wattages enabled by the modern USB-C specification, this is the most power you're going to get for charging laptops from an off-the-shelf product. I hope the manufacturer keeps pushing the envelope for USB-C power with future products!

reliable +9v to wireless quick charger from 12v power source
I got this with the goal of adding wireless quickcharging to a car. As a bench test, I hooked up a drill battery @ 12v to this adapter, then ran both the USB-A QC 3.0 and USB-C QC 4.0 ports to a wireless charger. Both immediately negotiated +9v and were able to charge the phone at full wireless quickcharge speeds.I have spent so many hours screwing around with trying to find the right combination of chargers, cables, and wall adapters to get wireless quickcharging working. It seems endlessly quirky. This solution is the first time I've had anything work so easily. This adapter is very impressive, and I will buy more.

USB-C port doesn’t work when powered by 12 VDC
I bought 3 of these for my boat (one 2-pack and one single). The USB-A port works fine on all of them, but the USB-C port doesn’t work on any of the 3 chargers. I have 12-14 VDC at the charger terminals and the blue LED is on. I’ve tried several cables and multiple phones/iPads with no luck. When I connect my USB-C cable to another charger, my devices charge fine. I didn’t discover the USB-C issue until the return period had expired. From other reviews I’ve read, this device requires more than 12 volts to enable the USB-C port to function. This is not disclosed in the product description. I’m going to find another brand that has both buck and boost functionality to replace these units since I need to power them with 12 volts DC.

Amazing little device if you know how to use it.
I saw the specs on this (USB PD 60W) and figured it was too good to be true. It sort of is.The device only negotiates voltages up to the voltage supplied at the input. For example if it’s plugged into 12V then it’ll only deliver up to ~36W (@3A).For it to live up to its true potential it needs to be fed 24V. In a typical car application the end user will end up needing a step-up converter (12 -> 24 volt) rated to at least 120W.Once that is in play then this little device will be able to deliver something that would have seemed impossible 10 years ago: enough juice to charge an actual laptop.I tried the circuit out on my test bench and was able to charge my iPad and my Macbook Pro without issue (not at the same time though)The device comes with blue LEDs which clash with the LEDs on my Mitsubishi Lancer. For anyone looking to change the LEDs you’re gonna need to order 0603 LEDs and figure out if you’re gonna need to change the current limiting resistor to change the brightness.Thankfully the brightness went down a bit when I changed out the LEDs enough so that it won’t become a nuisance in the daytime.I’d you’re looking to charge your laptop through USB C look no further than this incredible device. You won’t regret it.
