Q: I just watched a late nite commercial for this product. Is Aqua-dog suitable for a Mother-In-Law who sits next to the dog in the back seat?

I don't see why not. I would use it but my dog is a little messy whether he drinks from this or any other bowl. I guess it depends on your mother-in-law..

Q: Description says 'designed' in cali. so, is it made in china? how to tell if truly bpa free?

The bottle is made in China as noted on the bottom and on the attached tag. Disappointed.

Does not say dishwasher safe--easy to hand wash. We love it! Kind of splashy in the car, but it's only water. Easy for dog to get a drink!
